Differences in alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) use by sexual identity vary across samples of women recruited using different sampling methods. We used propensity score (PS) weighting methods to address two methodological questions: (1) Do disparities between sexual minority women (SMW) and heterosexual women persist when differences in risk and protective factors are similarly distributed between groups, and (2) Does accounting for SMW-specific resiliency factors impact differences between non-probability samples of SMW?
Accurately predicting faulty software units helps practitioners target faulty units and prioritize their efforts to maintain software quality. Prior studies use machine-learning models to detect faulty software code. We revisit past studies and point out potential improvements. Our new study proposes a revised benchmarking configuration. The configuration considers many new dimensions, such as class distribution sampling, evaluation metrics, and testing procedures. The new study also includes new datasets and models. Our findings suggest that predictive accuracy is generally good. However, predictive power is heavily influenced by the evaluation metrics and testing procedure (frequentist or Bayesian approach). The classifier results depend on the software project. While it is difficult to choose the best classifier, researchers should consider different dimensions to overcome potential bias.

Alcohol policy effects on alcohol's harms due to others' drinking (AHTO) and contextual factors that may mediate such policy effects have been understudied. This study examines state binge drinking prevalence as a mediator of the relationship between state alcohol policy and socioeconomic environments and individual-level AHTO.
The spectral imaging technology of adaptive classification is a new spectral technology based on traditional spectral imaging technology. Based on the traditional imaging spectrometer, the following research is carried out in this paper: Firstly, this paper introduces the development and theory of the spectral imaging technology of adaptive classification, then designs the optical system of the adaptive feature-specific spectral imaging classifier, and finally verifies the performance of the system through classifying experiment. The experimental results show that the classifying accuracy and speed of the information processing of the adaptive feature-specific spectral imaging classifier are better than those of the traditional imaging spectrometers.
