The deployment of Web services based SOA applications on the Internet has led to a massive increase in the number of services. However, in these circumstances, how to select and composite proper services to meet users' complex business demands becomes a serious challenge. One of the problems lies in the benefit conflicts between the Service Requesters (SRs) and the Service Providers (SPs) in service selection. To combat this, a novel benefit equilibrium driven service selection approach is proposed. Based on the game theory, this paper puts forward a utility evaluation method for both SRs and SPs. Then a corresponding mathematical model for benefit equilibrium driven services selection is designed. Finally an Adaptive Genetic Algorithm (AGA) is used to search an appropriate composite service. Simulation results have shown that the proposed method helps to improve the synthetic utility of SRs and SPs.

Modular squaring is essential operation in modular exponentiation.The speed of modular squaring is the key to the secure application in most public key cryptosystems and DSP(digital signal processing).A new signed binary representation of operand in modular squaring is presented in the paper.In comparison with the NAF(Non- Adjacent Form) method,it is characteristics of lower weight,shorter bit length,less memory,and the bigger aver- age length of zero runs.On the base of the method,an efficient algorithm for modular squaring with three-moduli( 2~π±1,2~π+3) is proposed,which could reduce partial products and carries.According to theoretical analyses and experiment comparison,new algorithm has better efficiency than other methods.
In service oriented application,value-added service is composed of some component services which are selected from candidate services.By analysing the characteristics of the composite services,both QoS and semantic relations between component services are regarded as criteria for selecting a set of services to construct a composite service.This paper presents a semantic relation model for the service composition,in which the data logical relationship and the condition dependence are comprehen-sively considered.Based on the model,service selection is formulated as a multi-objective optimization problem.Genetic Algorithm(GA)is used to search for a solution.Experimental results show that the proposed approach is feasible and effective.
The hardware structure,software design,working principles and the functions of an intelligent metal detector which mainly consists of Single Chip Micyoco AT89S52 and linear Hall-effect Sensor are described.The equipment adopts UGN3503U linear Hall-effect sensor as a probe to detect the magnetic changes of the centre of a search coil resulted from eddy current effect and transfers the magnetic change into voltage signal.The SCM measures the peak value of voltage.It is compared with reference voltage in order to determine whether metal is detected or not.In case of detection of a metallic mass,the metal detector provides an acoustical and optical alarm.The software was written in assembler language.Digital filter technology is utilized to eliminate the jamming and to improve measurement accuracy.

Composite Web services needs to meet the global Quality of Service (QoS) requirements of Customers. The evaluation of the services QoS is a important standard to make decision from numerous candidate composite services. However, due to the difficulty on the exact measurement of services QoS and exact expression of customers’ QoS requirements, the decision of Web services composition should be made on the fuzzy information. In this paper, an interval muti-attribute decision-making based evaluating method of QoS for composite services is presented. The method uses the interval numbers to describe the QoS parameters of the Web services, as well as the customers’ QoS requirements. The method for measuring interval-valued QoS parameters and aggregation are also proposed. With the consideration of the Characteristics of the customers’ requirements, the evaluation on QoS parameters is made to construct the decision-making matrix following the principle of "To be appropriate for Customers’ requirements". Finally, based on the matrix, a comprehensive evaluation is made by using TOPSIS. By assessing the customer satisfaction and interactivity, it gives a comprehensive evaluation on the composite Web service based on uncertain multi-attribute decision making method. With the help of the adaptive genetic algorithm, it tries to find the appropriate composite service that meets the global QoS requirements of the customers.
