    In order to improve the opening response time of the solenoid valve of a certain marine diesel engine, this paper analyzes the influence on the opening response time of the solenoid valve based on ANSOFT software. The results show that the opening response time of the solenoid valve can be appropriately shortened by increasing the voltage and reducing the working gap, but it still can not meet the 10ms requirement of opening time. However, the opening response time of the solenoid valve can be significantly shortened by optimizing the coil parameters under certain conditions of the solenoid valve structure parameters. Finally, a quarter coil is used to shorten the opening response time of the solenoid valve from 27.4ms to 9.2ms shortened by 66.4%, which meets the requirement of the opening response time of the solenoid of a marine diesel engine.

    Based on the software analysis of electromagnetic field, the electromagnetic force of high-speed solenoid in common rail injector was calculated by finite element analysis and was compared with the numerical result. In addition, the response character of solenoid valve was analyzed for different structure and lead diameter of solenoid valve. Meanwhile, equipment for testing the response character of solenoid valve was designed and the several groups of solenoid valves were tested. The results show that structure and lead diameter of solenoid valve will influence the response character of solenoid valve and the testing result has good agreement with the simulated result.

    We have developed a high-speed solenoid valve with a 1ms switching time to control a diesel engine electronically. We have already published our study concerning the circuit method for energizing the solenoid, and solenoid itself for fast switching. However, experiments of those studies are performed under simulated and light load conditions. In this paper we describe the test results of the high-speed solenoid valves under actual load conditions. Moreover, we used these solenoid valves as fuel-injection control tools for an electronically controlled diesel engine, and its performance is discussed.

    As the actuator of the high-pressure common-rail injector, the high-speed solenoid plays an important role in the fuel injection system of the diesel engines. This study introduced the high-speed solenoid valvepsilas prosperity and developed a test bench which could measure the magnetic force and response time of the high-speed solenoid. Finally, we tested a BOSCH solenoid with a Chinese made solenoid using the test bench for the relationship between the magnetic force, applying current and air gap which between the armature and the solenoid. With the test result, we can conclude that this test bench was fit to measure the prosperity of high-speed solenoid.

    The authors have developed a high-speed solenoid valve with a 1 ms switching time to control diesel engines electronically. In this paper, the authors focused their attention on developing the solenoid itself, investigating methods to be used for the fast operation of the solenoid valve. First, by using a mathematical model, they quantitatively examined the effects of design particulars, such as the dimensions of the solenoids and the number of turns of coil, on the switching time. According to the results obtained by the above examinations, they studied an effective method for fast switching. Next, they investigated appropriate and comprehensive methods that would satisfy given specifications under the various restrictions inherent in the solenoid valve's operation. In the final stage, they manufactured solenoid valves in accordance with the investigated methods, and evaluated their performance.< >

    In this article,the symbol expression for solenoid valve and its pneumatic components was introduced,which is helpful to engineers in designing pneumatic route diagram.With practical engineering instances,the working principles of solenoid valve were analyzed so as to enhance the level of utilizing solenoid valve to control the interlock.In this way,the practical problems in engineering can be solved.

    A method of identifying solenoid valve transition events by analyzing the current through the solenoid coil is proposed. Solenoid valves experience lags and transition times which are non-trivial in the context of control methods that require precise valve timing. The proposed methodology allows a user to positively identify the beginning and end of valve transition events through identifying slope changes in the solenoid coil current traces. This methodology was shown to identify the timing of valve transition events with less than 7% error when compared to measuring the position of the valve spool with a laser displacement sensor. The proposed methodology is based upon measuring the current through the solenoid coil and requires no modification to the valve or valve housing to achieve these results.

    The solenoid valve of electronic controlled injector for high pressure common rail fuel injection system was developed and studied. Through analyzing typical solenoid valve structure, the plat solenoid valve was developed. Based on the established mathematical model, the structure parameters and controlling parameters were analyzed. The experiment results show that the mathematical model and analyzing results are correct. The response time of the developed solenoid valve reaches 0389 ms?

    The mechanical configuration and work principle of the solenoid valve were described.The simulation model of the solenoid based on Ansoft and the entire simulation model of the solenoid valve based on AMESim were built.The simulation result of the Ansoft solenoid model was made use of in building the AMESim solenoid valve model.The couple simulation of electromagnetic circuit,mechanical components and hydraulic system was realized,the more precise dynamical characteristic simulation results of the solenoid were obtained.
