Whether the dispatching automation system or substation automation system can run safely, steadily, reliably, its power supply system is an important factor. The paper analyzes the current situation of automation system in Yucheng Electric Co., a scheme for optimized power supply in the substation automation system is put forward. Through the actual examination of the substation automation system, the concrete countermeasures are made.

Feeder automation system based on multi-agent is proposed in this paper after analyzing the shortage of current distribution feeder automation system. Single agent can achieve feeder monitoring and local protection alone. When they cooperate, they can locate the fault line section rapidly and accurately, isolate the fault line section and restore power to unfaulted line sections intelligently. Strategy about fault processing of feeder automation system based on multi-agent is analyzed through experiments done in laboratory. It is proved that feeder automation based on multi-agent is more effective.

The automation system oriented as one of the second year automation projects for the small and medium sized enterprises(SME) was developed for the improvement of the production rate and cut the required manpower in the field of the relay which is one of the small electric components used in various industrial fields. The objectives of this study are not only improving the international competition of the relay itself but also partially solving the technical and financial problems featured by common bottlenecks of the SME for efficient assembly automation. For the purpose of these objectives, several topics are studied as followings. -. Analyzing the adjustment process and determining the specification of the automation system. -. Determining the layout for the automation system to meet the determined specification. -. Detail design of the automation system for relay adjusment and inspection. -. Control system design. -. The integrated substation automation monitoring system is mainly composed of related technologies and theories in automation technology, Internet information technology, digital signal technology and other fields. By rearranging and optimizing the design of the substation automation monitoring system, especially the auxiliary monitoring system, the operation speed and management efficiency of the substation are fundamentally improved, and the automation level of the substation is greatly promoted.

Automation is the future for organizational processes. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is the solution for software automation in various domains like IT, Finance and accounting, Supply chain and so on. In this paper we propose a RPA solution for education domain. This paper shows the automation process for result analysis of student’s examination results. The automation process takes input as the university result in pdf form. We performed automation on this input file using Automation anywhere tool. Our result shows that all the work is error free. Also time required for this analysis is around 94.44% less as compared to manual analysis by human.

This paper proposes four models of distribution automation system,namely fault locating system,local feeder automation system,centralized feeder automation system,and dispatching and distribution automation system.The functions and the influences of these four models on power supply reliability are studied.And the power supply reliability of distribution network in different automation models is evaluated using the network-equivalent method.By comparison of the results,it offers some suggestions on choosing the distributed automation model for different areas.

Whether the automation system or the conventional secondary equipment supplemented with telecontrol devices should be employed in the reconstruction of the unmanned substations, and whether the centralized configuration or the hierarchic and distributed configuration should be adopted for the substation automation systems are analyzed. The followings are suggested. At present, the automation systems should be employed. For the operating substations, the centralized configuration should be adopted, and the hierarchic and distributed configuration could be considered only when the retrofit of the 10 kV equipment is executed in the meantime. For the new substations, the automation system structure will depend upon the types and layouts of the electric primary equipment.
