By randomized block design of 3 different sowing dates,3 kind of sowing quantitoes of 2 factors and 3 levels of 9 processings,the test studied the influence of planting date and density on Wanyou 29 yield.The results showed that sowing date,sowing date and sowing quantity interaction had significant effects on the yield of rapeseed,which reached the extremely significant level;Based on the sowing seeds condition of Wanyou 29,early sowing could gain high yield through proper.When the sowing date was 25th Sep.,the planting quantity was 3.0 kg/hm2,the highest yield was obtained in Wanyou 29.

[Objective]The aim was to study the appropriate combination of sowing time and planting density of high-protein Summer Soybean Guodou5hao.[Method]as the test materials,four sowing time and five planting density were designed,the effects of sowing time and planting density on grawth and development and yield of Guodou5hao were studied.[Result]With the sowing time delaying,the yield of Guodou5hao was decreased,while with the planting density increasing,its yield increasea first and then reduced.The effects of planting density on their pods and yield of Guodou5hao were bigger than that of sowing time.When planting in 5th June and planting density was 2.55 × 105 plant/hm2,the yield was the highest of 3 173.7 kg/hm2.[Conclusion]Under the permitting conditions,Guodou5hao should be sowing early and the suitable sowing time is 5th12th June,the optimum planting density is 2.25 ×105~2.55 ×105 plant/hm2.If the sowing time is putting off,the planting density should be increasea.

[Objective] Optimum sowing time and seeding rate of Luo Mai 18 in southern Henan were studied to further tap its high yield potential. [Method] The test carried out according to split plot design. 5 sowing dates( A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) and 4 sowing quantity( B1,B2,B3,B4) were arranged. [Result] With the delay of sowing date,wheat basic seedlings decreased,the highest group and the spike number also decreased,the difference of spike rate in different sowing times was small. Yield decreased in step significantly with delayed sowing date,especially A5. With the increase of the sowing quantity,basic seedlings gradually increased,the highest group gradually increased,the yield increased gradually,and the spike rate gradually reduced,the spike number increased and then decreased,inverted V type. From the interaction of sowing date and sowing quantity,the yield of combination of early sowing and high quantity was high,and that of late sowing was very low. [Conclusion] Luo Mai 18 in southern Henan sowing in October 10- 20 was suitable,and the sowing amont of 187. 5- 225. 0kg / hm2 was more appropriate. And the yeilld of October 10 th planting and sowing rate of 187. 5kg / hm2 was the highest.

Two factors random configuration design were used to study the sowing dates and planting densities in vegetable soybean variety Mindou 1.The results indicated that the highest yield was 14288.21 kg/hm2 in the experiment with planting density of 300000 plants/hm2 and sowing on April 16th in the ecological condition of north Fujian.The suitable sowing time was in the first and the middle ten days of April,and the planting density was about 30000 plants/hm2.

Fanmai No.8 is a new dwarf wheat variety developed by He'nan Dishen Seed Industry Co.,Ltd.with high yield.The effects of sowing date and planting density on the yield of Fanmai No.8 were studied.The results showed that the yield had little difference when the sowing date was on October 5 to 19,and the planting density was 750 000~4 950 000 plants/hm2.The planting density should be more than 3 900 000 plants/hm2 when the sowing date was after October 26.

Different sowing time and sowing amount had different influences on the yield of high gluten wheat variety Jining 16.Sowing amount had some influence on the yield,but sowing time had greater influence,so it was important for seed to be sown in optimal period.In southwest Shandong Province,the suitable sowing time for Jining 16 should be between October 5th and October 20th,while the best sowing time was between October 10th and October 15th.The optimal number of fundamental seedlings of Jining 16 should be(13~18)×104 per 666.7m2 in the suitable sowing period.The sowing amount should be adjusted according to the sowing time.

[Objective] The aim was to definitude the suitable sowing date of Guidan589,which will provide basis for high-yield cultivation.[Method] There are six sowing date in spring,four sowing date in autumn,The influences of different sowing dates on growth period,yield and yield-related traits of Guidan589 were studied through the field experiment.[Result] Sowing in spring with the sowing date was postponed,the time of sowing date to seeding date and the whole growth period shortens,yield reduce gradually,sowing in autumn,with the sowing date was postponed,the sowing date to seeding date and the whole growth period lengthens,yield increase at first,then reduce,in a short,sowing in Feb.15th-Mar.15th and Aug.1th-15th can acquire high-yield of Guidan589,yield-related traits are better,sowing before Feb.can meet low temperature easily,seeding was effected,sowing after in late Mar.,the whole growth period become shorten obviously,sowing after Sept.due to the low temperature,maize become maturity are difficult,harvest yield is low.[Conclusion] The suitable spring sowing date was Feb.15th to Mar.15th,and the optimal autumn sowing date was between Jul.20th and Aug.15th.These sowing dates can avoid or reduce the seasonal natural disasters and enhance the yield.

Abstract Soybean is one of the most important crops. The density of the seedlings should be 200-300 thousand per hectare, 300-400 thousand seeds, and 400-500 thousand early varieties. In this article results of research in the field and laboratory are shown for sowing soybean seeds using SCHX-4 sowing machine and its mechanical sowing apparatus. In the experiments, the number of measurements at the sowing depth was 100 and the number of lines was 10. The sowing capacity was 35-40 kg, the sowing depth was 4 cm and the width of the line was 90 cm. During the experiment, the difference in sowing measure between real sowing and SCHX-4 which has a mechanical apparatus was 6.75% and the average sowing depth and its standard deviation were 3.8 and 0.31 cm respectively. The width between the main and side rows was 89.5 and 92.5 cm respectively, and the damage level of seed caused by seeder SCHX-4 was 5.2 %. This apparatus did not reach agro-technical requirements. Thus a restrictor was installed was made from rubber and formed a semi molded formation on the hole where the seed enters the sowing apparatus which decreased the seed damage to 0.8 %.

The eclectic direct-sowing techniques of rice involving sowing date,sowing density,space between the rows and sowing depth were studied in the experiment and the results showed that,for rice variety Longjing 8,the suitable sowing date ranged from 6 to 13 May,the sowing density was 112.5 kg/hm2,the space between the rows was 30 cm and the sowing depth was 0.5 or 1.0 cm.

Nigella sativa L. is widely used medicinal plant throughout the world. In Bangladesh it is mainly used as spices in preparing various food items. Sowing time and sowing methods are the influential factors to produce higher seed yield of black cumin. Therefore, this study was undertaken to find out a suitable sowing date and method to produce higher seed yield of black cumin. The two-factor experiment comprised with four sowing dates (1st November, 15th November, 1st December and 15th December) and two sowing methods (line sowing and broadcast seeding). The experiment was carried out following randomized complete block design with three replicates. Results showed that plant growth, yield contributing traits and yield of black cumin significantly influenced by sowing dates and methods. It was observed that the line sowing method compared to broadcast seeding and 1st December sowing among the other sowing dates exhibited higher plant growth with greater production of seed. The combine effect of sowing time and sowing methods showed significantly influenced on black cumin seed production. It was observed that the 1st December sowing with line sowing method increased the seed yield as compared to other sowing dates and methods. From the findings of this study it can be concluded that 1st December following line sowing method would maximize plant growth, yield contributing traits and seed yield of black cumin in Bangladesh.
