    For the peanut combine harvester excavation process resistance, poor soil crushing effect and poor reliability of the problem, the excavation shovel optimization needs improvement. Firstly, a mechanical model of the resistance of the excavation shovel was established to investigate the key factors affecting the degree of resistance of the excavation shovel. Next, the design of the main parameters of the excavation shovel was done to determine the range of values of the main factors affecting the peanut excavation shovel. EDEM software was used to simulate and analyse the excavation process and to explore the influence law of excavation shovel parameters on the resistance. Improvements were made to the excavation shovel, discrete element simulation tests were used to demonstrate that the optimized excavation device had better resistance reduction and soil crushing than the original device. By designing a three-factor, three-level orthogonal simulation test, the best parameters for the excavation shovel were obtained: the shovel surface inclination is 20°, the excavation depth is 131mm, and the shovel surface width is 277mm. Field trials were conducted under the optimal combination of parameters to test the reliability of the improved digging shovel. Compared with the operating effectiveness of the original machine, the result was improved to some extent. It proves that the optimized design of excavating shovel is reasonable and can improve the operation effect of peanut harvester.

    To design a new digging shovel of tomato harvester with high performance, this paper summarizes the types of potato digging shovel at home and abroad, analyzes the structure and characteristics of various digging shovels, outlines some of the basic design methods and related theory, and discusses the existing problems of them.On this basis, this paper proposes a new bi onic design plan and a new parameter design theory, and gives specific ideas so as to provide direction for following digging shovel design, which is of great significance in improving the design of the potato digging shovel and in optimizing the tuber crops harvest soil dynamics analysis method.

    Shovel is commonly used for soil lifting, weed removal,ormation, lifting straw, etc. Due to soil packing, unequal height, and other factors, the standardized spade size is not suitable for every worker and every field situation. As a result, the standard shovel lacked flexibility and was unsuitable for all of the labours need to work productively. So a shovel should be introduced that can quickly change the shovel metal head or blade angle to carry out the task effectively, and the wooden handle should be replaced with a suitable alternative.The authors have undertaken several studies looking which aims to research on shovel that increases overall yield while also immediately lowering time consumption and protection.

    This paper explores the general problem of systematically changing an environment using a mobile manipulator. The specific application considered is for automated excavation in truck-shovel surface mining operations. A solution is proposed which would allow the use of Model Predictive Control in the planning of shovel positions and dig patterns, to allow the completion of an excavation task. The formulation takes into account a number of constraints such as the reach of the shovel, the excavation cost relative to the shovel position and the shovel physical movement constraints. Simulation results are presented that show a shovel path through the environment and manipulation requirements to complete the task.

    Objective:The aim of this study is to develop a farming shovel to reduce workload, which helps farmers lower the risk of musculoskeletal disease.BR Background: Most of work using farming tools including shovels requires repetitive works and awkward postures on body parts, and it could possibly cause work-related musculoskeletal disorders. It is necessary to develop and distribute farm equipment and tools in order to reduce physical workload.BR Method: To improve the most uncomfortable task perceived by ten farmers during the work with a shovel, the improved shovel was designed and made as a prototype for experiment for the comparison of the existing and improved shovels. Twenty males were recruited for this experiment, and muscle activity (%MVC) of six body parts and subjective discomfort ratings by body parts while working with a shovel were measured. A paired t-test was performed to compare physical workload between the existing shovel and the developed one.BR Results: A shovel applying foothold tied between shaft and blade was designed, which can help workers reduce repetitive bending of back and pressures for upper limbs while digging soil.     A certain potato digger in wing shovel type which fit walking tractor was designed to solve the problem in innumerable mountain,small plot potato harvest.This shovel was designed with a structure light and crashing earth well.How to use Pro/E software to establish the 3-D model of wing shovel was also introduced.The shovel was performed through ANSYS technology,and the results showed that safety coefficient of wing shovel was 3.745,which met the design requirements.The field experiment results showed that potato and lump separation effect was good.The technical indexes reached to the standard requirement,the obvious rate was 97.5% while the damage rate was 1.5%.
