The regional characteristics of precipitation in Hunan Province were analyzed based on the monthly rainfall data of 97 meteorological stations from 1951 to 2010.The results showed the annual precipitation spatial distribution is that the precipitation in mountainous areas is abundant, but the precipitation in plain is deficient.Precipitation in spring and autumn decreased in most areas, and the precipitation of summer showed an increasing trend.

Carbon isotopes of pedogenic carbonate are often used to study paleoenvironments, but the existence of detrital carbonate changes the carbon isotopic composition. To develop an experimental method to determine existence of detrital carbonate in carbonate nodules, and to avoid it during isotope analysis, 23 pedogenic carbonate nodules in Miocene loess from the Loess Plateau of China were studied through micromorphology and carbon isotope analysis. The difference in carbon isotopic composition between matrix carbonate (B) and pore carbonate (A) (δ 13C(B-A)) ranges from 0.27‰ to 0.44‰ in nodules containing detrital carbonate and–0.16‰ to 0.13‰ in nodules where detrital carbonate is absent. The latter is within measurement error, but the former is beyond it. Here we propose an isotopic approach to determine if nodules contain detrital carbonate: if δ 13C(B-A) is within the measurement error, the nodules do not contain detrital carbonate, and vice versa. We suggest that it is better to analyze pore carbonate instead of matrix carbonate when using carbon isotope of carbonate nodules to reconstruct paleoenvironments.

Calcium carbonate, scientifically known as CaCO 3 , is a common additive used in pharmaceutical industry. It can be used a color additive, and is a fine, white, synthetically prepared powder consisting essentially of precipitated calcium carbonate (CaCO 3 ). This paper discusses about Calcium Carbonate with respect to Pharma Industry.

Disaggregate models –defined here as models using observations at the level of the traveler, the traveling group, the business establishment or the shipmenthave several advantages over aggregate models (which use groupings of those units as observations, e.g., groupings by geographic zone). Disaggregate models can be based on a foundation in behavioral theory, can include more detailed policy-relevant variables and do not suffer from the aggregation biases of aggregate models. Nevertheless, there are perfectly valid reasons why some of the components of a model system are modeled in an aggregate fashion. In this paper, we propose an ‘aggregate-disaggregate-aggregate’ (ADA) model system for freight transport.
