    Gehypochthonius marianoi n. sp. (Acari: Oribatida), is described from adults and immatures collected in costal sand dunes in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The species is compared with adults and immatures of G. rhadamanthus and G. xarifae respectively, and included in rhadamanthus complex (LEE, 1982). Diagnosis of this complex is discussed

    Two new species of the genus Euscheloribates (Oribatida, Scheloribatidae), E. guitingensis n. sp. and E. magdiwangensis n. sp., are described from forest leaf litter in Mount Guiting-guiting Natural Park on Sibuyan Island, Philippines. Remarks on similarity of the genera Euscheloribates and Birobates are discussed.

    Abstract Three new oribatid mites (Acari) are described from Yoron Island, South Japan. They are Yoronoribates minusculus gen.n. et sp.n., Pergalumna hastata sp.n. and Liacarus externus sp.n. The new genus Yoronoribates is characterized by three pairs of genital setae and tridactylous legs.

    Carabodes palmifer Berlese, 1904 is redescribed. Leg setation and solenidial formula are described for the first time in this species and illustrations are given. The mite was found in a pine plantation in Mendata, Spain, in 1995, representing the first record of this species in the Iberian Peninsula.

    A new species of the genus Protoplophora Berlese, 1910 Berlese, A. 1910. Acari nuovi. Manipoli V, VI. Redia, 6: 199–234. [Google Scholar] (Acari: Oribatida: Protoplophoridae), Protoplophora iranica from Iran is described. The new species is characterized by the striated body surface and nine pairs of genital setae. Also a key to all the species in the genus is presented.
