The experiment was designed to investigate effects of 37℃ heat stress on the development of experimental colibacillosis in broiler chickens.The results showed that: Under the heat stress,the clinical signs and pathological changes of broiler chickens with colibacillosis were less severe,the mortality was significantly lower(P0.01),the body temperature and respiration rate were significantly higher(P0.01) than those of the broiler chickens with only E.coli infection.The conclusion: the development of experimental colibacillosis in broiler chickens may be blocked in a way under the 37℃ heat stress.

Effect of Litter on Development and Severity of Foot-Pad Dermatitis and Behavior of Broiler Chickens
ABSTRACT This study was conducted to evaluate the impact of litter type and litter treatment with enzymatic-bacterial production incidence and severity of footpad dermatitis and consequently on behavior of broiler chickens. A total of 1,200 one day-old Ross 308 broilers were randomly allocated to 4 treatments with 4 replicates in 2 x 2 factorial design. The first factor was the physical form of the straw (chopped on approximately 2 cm or un-chopped) and the second factor was addition of enzymatic-bacterial product applied directly on the straw. Each replicate consisted of 75 as-hatched birds per pen. Occurrence and severity of the footpad dermatitis and histological evaluation of the scores was done at the end of the trial (42 days of age). During the trial, at 3 and 6 weeks of age, broiler behavior was observed by Scan Sampling Method. The results showed that chopped straw significantly lowered the incidence of footpad dermatitis. Chopped straw in combination with enzymatic-bacterial product showed the lowest footpad dermatitis score in broilers. Histological procedures confirmed the macroscopic evaluation of the footpad dermatitis severity. The chopped straw had a significant effect on some behavioral patterns of broiler chickens. Differences were observed for dust bathing and scratching. Correlation between footpad dermatitis and birds locomotor activity was not confirmed.

A total of 400 day old chicks comprising of two groups (T1- Nandanam broiler-2 and T2 - Nanadanam broiler-3 chickens and) with four replicates of 50 chicks each and reared up to 8th week of age under intensive system. Production performance of birds was assessed based on biweekly bodyweight, feed conversion ratio and livability. The results revealed that there were no significant (P>0.05) differences observed in mean body weight (g) at initial growth periods, i.e., from 0-2 weeks of age between. Significantly higher (P£0.01) mean body weight (g) was observed in Nanadanam broiler-3 chickens from 4 to 8 weeks of age than Nandanam broiler-2 birds. Significantly better (P£0.01) cumulative feed conversion ratio was recorded in Nanadanam broiler-3 than Nandanam broiler-2 and per cent livability did not differ. It is concluded that Nanadanam broiler-3 chickens had significantly higher production performance than Nandanam broiler-2 birds under intensive system of management.

Effects of heat stress on production efficiency in broiler chickens with experimental colibacillosis
The experiment was designed to investigate effects of 37℃ constant heat stress on production efficiency in broiler chickens with experimental colibacillosis and to give the theoretics basis for breeding broiler chickens with colibacillsis under high temperature.The results showed that: the heat stress and colibacillosis in broiler chickens all decreased significantly(P0.01) in feed intake.The feed intake of broiler chickens with colibacillsis decreased by 26.01%(P0.01) from 4 to 7 day under heat stress.The heat stress decreased significantly(P0.01) in body weight gain of broiler chickers.The body weight of broiler chickens with colibacillosis decreased significantly(P0.01).The body weight in broiler chickens with colibacillosis decreased by 348.58% in 7 days under heat stress.The conclusion: The heat stress decreased significantly in feed intake of broiler chickens with colibacillosis and severely affected its production efficiency.

This study was designed to examine the effect of commercially available poultry feedstuff on the broiler, subsequently, its impact on the experimental animal. The proximate composition as well as concentrations of Pb, Ni, Mn, As and Zn in broiler feed and meat were determined using energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometry. Higher levels of Cr, Mn, Zn, Cu, Ni were observed in broiler feed, broiler meat and in the liver of the experimental mice Swiss albino treated with BB1 and BB2. The concentration of these (Cr, Pb and As) metal were 0.182, 0.18, 0.163 μg/g and 0.233, 0.08, 0.158 μg/g, respectively. The blood cholesterol and LDL were significantly higher in the broiler meat treated experimental mice. Remarkable degeneration observed in the liver and kidney of broiler meat-treated mice. It is concluded that although broiler has nutritional benefits the quality of this meat may be compromised as a consequence of contamination through various anthropogenic activities and the presence of toxic metals in commercial poultry feed.

Temperature conditions in broiler chicken should be 0-4 0 C in refrigerated broiler chicken and, in broiler chicken frozen for more than 4 months, -15 0 C to -20 0 C to avoid alterations of physico-chemical and organoleptic features. pH values in carcass broiler chicken varies depending on storage time and on the degree of freshness, ranging between 6.1-6.4 in relatively fresh frozen broiler chicken and 6.4-6.5 in de-frozen broiler chicken, reaching 5.8-6.1 in fresh broiler chicken. Microbiological and physico-chemical features are influenced by storage conditions in both storage units and retail units. Easily hydrolysable nitrogen reached, in all analysed samples, values between 19.53±0.38 and 21.14±0.18 in broiler chicken carcass and 18.88±0.24 in broiler chicken legs.

Abstrcat The research was conducted by a single factor to investigate the effects of inoculation with E.tenella eggs on moisture in feces of broiler chickens. The results showed that the production performance of broiler chickens infected with E.tenella significantly had been effected (P0.05). The moisture in feces of broiler chickens without E.tenella is higher than broiler chickens without E.tenella. After inoculatiton 4 days the moisture in feces of broiler chickens with E.tenella increased. The study showes that the increasing moisture in reces of broiler with E.tenella is physilogical image of pathological change. At clinic moisture in feces of broiler had been considered one of references index of broiler chickens infected with E.tenella.
