Abstract:
In this contribution, we present the results of the development of long gridded climate time series, which cover the territory of Ukraine for the period of 1946-2020 (75 years). The spatial resolution of the developed data is 0.1o×0.1o (approximately 10 km in both longitude and latitude directions), while their time discreteness is 1 day. Four essential climate variables are included in the dataset, namely daily sums of atmospheric precipitation and daily minimum, mean and maximum air temperature. The created gridded product is based on the complete collection of weather measurements, performed at 178 meteorological stations of Ukraine, which constitute the modern national observation network. Quality assurance check, homogenization and gridding of the station time series were performed by means of widely used and well approved climatological software, i.e. INQC, Climatol and MISH, respectively. The produced gridded time series were statistically compared on the monthly and daily time scales with several existing data sets, which have the same spatial resolution (i.e., previously developed gridded monthly data of Ukraine, ERA5-Land, E-OBS). The comparison showed good accordance with UA monthly data (partly obtained from other paper sources than the daily data) and acceptable agreement with ERA5-Land and E-OBS data. The developed long gridded time series are of great importance as they were built with the involvement of as many real weather measurements as possible. Therefore, they can be used as a reference for a wide variety of climatological applications for the territory of Ukraine.   Oleg Skrynyk acknowledges the support from the MSCA4Ukraine fellowship program, which is funded by the European Union. Keywords:

Abstract Annual mean air temperature for Sudan and South Sudan for the periods 1961- 1990 and 1981-2010 was obtained as normal data for 19 stations for each period from Sudan Meteorological Authority and analyzed for variation with the course of time and for correlations between mean, maximum and minimum air temperature on the one hand and latitudes, longitudes and elevations on the other hand. The results showed an increase of about 0.30 degrees Celsius in the mean temperature of the 19 stations of the last period relative to the previous period. The maximum and minimum temperatures increased on the average by 0.47 and 0.27 degrees Celsius respectively. Both mean and minimum temperatures showed strong to moderate correlations with longitudes and altitudes, while latitudes showed no effects on air temperatures. Keywords: Air temperature, variation, coordinates, elevation, Sudan.

This study aims to study distribution of air temperature characteristics and to analyse the trend of mean monthly maximum temperature changed in summer of Thailand from 1987 to 2019. The study was performed by gathering the temperature data from 83 meteorological stations around Thailand. The study focused on the months February to May in the years 1987 to 2019. Then, distribution of air temperature characteristics maps and graph of each month in each year are created to analyse the distribution and trend of mean monthly maximum temperature over the past 33 years. The results showed that, for every year, the mean monthly maximum temperature increased from February to April and decreased in May. Moreover, the maps presented that the air temperature in the western of Thailand was higher than the eastern of Thailand. Furthermore, the temperature trend illustrated that the mean monthly maximum temperature of all months in summer was increasing, especially May. Totally, the trend of the air temperature in summer was rising by 0.0087°C per year.

This paper analyzed the variation of air temperature in the past 40 years based on the monthly observation of mean air temperature, maximum and minimum air temperature during 1971 ~ 2010 in Dingri meteorological station. Results show that annual mean air temperature and mean air temperature in different seasons have significant increasing trend in the past 40 years over Dingri region. And,the linear trend of annual mean air temperature is 0. 394℃ /10a. The mean air temperature in winter has the largest increasing trend, followed by that in spring and autumn while the trend in summer is smallest.Similarly, the maximum and minimum air temperatures have the same increasing variation tendency as man air temperature. The linear trend of annual mean maximum and minimum air temperature is 0. 372℃ /10a and 0. 445℃ /10a respectively. The increasing amplitude of minimum air temperature is larger than maximum air temperature. Mean air temperature of different periods is basically increases rapidly from 1997,but the maximum, minimum air temperatures are increasing obviously from the1990s.

Based on the temperature data in Jianzha during 1961- 2007,the trends of annual mean air temperature, annual mean maximum and minimum temperature and diurnal temperature were analyzed. The results showed that annual mean temperature increased obviously for Jianzha in the last 48 years, especially in winter,it kept space with Qinghai Province. The climatological warming trend was 0. 24 ℃ /10a,the autumn take second place. The increasing range of mean maximum temperatures is more dominant than that of mean minimum temperatures, this feature was much more distinct in autumn and summer. Annual mean diurnal temperature has increased, especially in autumn. The increasing trend is the main reason which causes the increasing of maximum temperature,a typical feature of the increasing trend of annual mean diurnal temperature is that the increasing range of mean maximum temperature is above the minimum temperature.

Based on the daily average temperature, the daily maximum and minimum temperatures in Nanjing from 1951 to 2009,the trends of the daily extreme temperatures and the relationship with average temperature were analyzed. The results indicate that the mean annual temperature, the mean annual maximum and minimum temperatures are all in the increasing trends, especially in 1990s.The daily maximum temperature is in a decreasing trend in summer, and in an increasing trend in the other seasons. The mean air temperature and the mean minimum air temperature in different seasons are in the increasing trends. The difference of the daily air temperature in summer decreases obviously, which reduces the difference of air temperature between daytime and nighttime. The numbers of extreme high temperature and low temperature days show decreasing trends. The extreme air temperatures are significantly correlated to the mean air temperature, especially the minimum air temperature.

Based on the monthly mean maximum and minimum temperatures data in Dunhuang oasis during 1951 ~2005,the change trend and characteristics of annual, seasonal mean maximum and minimum temperature in Dunhuang oasis were analyzed. The analysis result showed that both maximum and minimum temperatures were increasing for the period. The minimum temperature increased more than maximum temperature and the rate of increase of minimum temperature was 13.24 times higher than that of maximum temperature. So the minimum temperature has been greatly influencing the increasing of the whole temperatures. The mean maximum temperature was increasing in spring, autumn and winter, but it was slightly decreasing in summer in Dunhuang oasis.Anyway, the mean minimum temperature was increasing in all seasons. The increase of the mean minimum tem-peratures was a mutated phenomenon. The mean minimum temperature happened in 1994 in Dunhunag oasis.
