POPULATION STRUCTURE AND HUNTING OF DEMOISELLE CRANES IN DISTRICT BANNU, KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA, PAKISTAN

Abstract:
The crane is a large, beautiful animal with long necks, legs, and life expectancy. Like a few other wild wildlife, this group of birds has the potential to lift people's emotions. The current study was carried out from September 2019 to June 2022 in District Bannu Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan to check the hunting rate of Demoiselle crane. Different sites were visited and the data was collected in the form of questionnaires. The entire hunting area was visited, along with the rivers Kurram and Kashu, and the hunters were observed and interviewed during that time. The River Kurram, River Kashu, and River Gambilla, which are located in the Bannu and Lakky Marwat Districts, respectively, are the well-known locations for hunting in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa. Out of the seventy-one hunter groups, group 1 (comprising sixty-three people) reported that there were sixty-five hunting sites along the Kurram River; group 2, comprising thirty-seven members, reported that there were fifty-two hunting sites along the same river. The majority of hunters (70%) felt that early spring (March) was the ideal time to hunt. Majority of hunters (80%; 56/70) found that late night was the optimum time to hunt Demoiselle cranes, with the remaining 10% hunting in the early morning (07/70 and daytime 5.7% (04/70). When hunting Demoiselle cranes, the majority of hunters employed both soya and gun shooting (54/70; 77%), followed by twenty percent (14/70) who used only soya, and three percent (one out of seventy) who exclusively employed gunfire. The selected area is one of the better significant places for Demoiselle crane, which is significantly impacted by a number of risk factors that are in charge of the species' limited migration and population. The best methods for conservation are legislative protection through prohibitions on gaming and rearing, where it is removed from the Red List of Endangered Species.Keywords:

The focus of this research was to find critical analysis of factors that effect to BISEs working in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The universe of the investigation was hers of public schools (male and female) at secondary school level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Pakistan). The population of the research was restricted to all public schools (male and female) teachers from the 64 male and female secondary schools. The study's sample consisted of 193 male and 120 female respondents who were chosen using stratified sampling technique. Data was collected by using a questionnaire that was created by researcher himself. The data was analyzed using the mean and the t-test. The study's findings revealed that a variety of factors influence BISEs. Also no significant difference in the perception of male and female teachers was recorded regarding the role of BISEs in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

FACTORS AFFECTING WOMEN'SCAREER CHOICE AND SELF-EFFICACY: EVIDENCE FROM KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA, PAKISTAN
The research is based on the women's career choices in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.The main focus of the research is to judge the perception that women of Peshawar hold about different occupations, her choice of choosing her career, and to which extent she is influential in choosing her career. The study is carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially Peshawar. Data is primary, and descriptive statistics are being used on the questionnaire.Two portion questionnaires are developed for the study. The study suggests that fathers influence female career choices. Most of the females in the telecom sector and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa prefer job security in the job sector.

An extensive survey was carried out on the sheep breeds of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A total of 487 samples of Sheep breed were collected and sorted out into 10 species viz: Kaghani, Rambouillet, Ramghani, Afghani, Gauder, Balkhi, Hashtnagri, Damani, Waziri and Australian. Out of which Australian and Ramghani showed its wide diversity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and over all percentage of Australian was recorded significantly highest i-e: 13.75% followed 11.08% of Ramghani while significantly least percentage i-e: 8.41% and 8.62%, for Waziri and Rambouillet respectively. In addition to this, distribution and checklist of sheep breed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is provided for the first time.

보편적 초등교육 달성을 목표로 하였던 새천년개발목표 이후 제시된 지속가능발전목표는 양질의 교육을 강조하며 교육의 양적 확대 뿐만 아니라 질적 향상을 동시에 추구하고 있다. 저소득국가에서 빈번히 나타나는 높은 교사 결근율은 양질의 교육을 제공하는데 가장 큰 걸림돌 중 하나라 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 파키스탄 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa주에서 2014년 도입한 공립학교 교사출석 모니터링 프로그램의 효과를 분석하였다. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa주와 이웃하고 있는 Gilgit Baltistan 주를 대조군으로 설정하고 교사출석 모니터링 프로그램의 사전사후 변화추이를 이중차분분석 방법으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 공립학교 교사 출석율은 4.2% 포인트 증가하였고, 공립학교에 재학 중인 학생들의 읽기, 수학, 영어 시험성적은 통계적으로 유의미하게 상승하였다. 독립적인 제3자 모니터링 프로그램을 통해 교사 출석율을 효과적으로 높일 수 있음을 보여주었고, 교사의 양적 투입 증가가 학생들의 학업성취도 향상으로 연결될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

This study was conducted to find out the solutions to improve the troubles in Hilly and Mountainous villages whose living Standard is low, and to reconstruct those villages into new space for living. Several villages around Mt.JIRI among Hilly and Mountainous villages of Korea which were already examined in 1988 were chosen for this study. As the results of this study, we analyzed the changes of consciousness on the shift of the level of living condilions, depopulation, direction of development, and then confirmed the subject in order to improve the Hilly and Mountainous villages in future.

This research study focused on the economic impact of covid-19 on small and medium entrepreneurs. This research study was conducted in seven districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A total of 350 samples were randomly selected from seven districts. From each district 50 samples were selected including 25 small and 25 medium entrepreneurs. All the samples were taken from auto, hoteling, grocery, fresh food and garments industries. The results showed that stay-at-home policy inflicted huge economic cost both on small and medium entrepreneurs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. On average a small entrepreneur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa lost US $1552.8 per day while every medium entrepreneur lost US $13084.2 per day in the garments industry during covid-19 lock down. Similarly, per day average cost of a small entrepreneur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was US $898.7 while that of the medium entrepreneur was US $6140.65 during covid-19 lock down. This financial lost/cost did not include any past or current liabilities rather it was derived from the sale and purchase data collected from the local entrepreneurs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This paper investigates the overall educational conditions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the British rule, and also explore the prevailing educational system in the province. It further explain the deplorable educational conditions of the Muslims on the eve of British arrival in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. After the occupation of the province and introduction of modern education by the Britishers, various educational movements in reaction were initiated by some prominent religious, social and political elites. These educational movements are thoroughly investigated in the research paper.
