    Abstract:
    Along with the rapid development of international metropolis, China's urbanization is developing faster and faster. In the process of China's urbanization development, mountain mounding with construction waste is one of the most direct, effective and economical means to deal with construction waste, not only that, but also, one of the important methods for ecological restoration project of landscape gardening, this method has several advantages such as green construction, green low carbon, energy saving and carbon reduction, etc. It also improves the utilization rate of resources, has high economic and environmental benefits, and also has high High research value and social significance.Since there are differences in the mechanical properties of the original soil and the mounded hill materials in the process of construction waste mounding, as well as, differences in the soil quality in different regions, it is necessary to study the stability of the hill. In this paper, the following research results are obtained through actual case studies of typical landscape projects: first, geomechanical tests are conducted on the raw soil and construction waste mound hill materials to obtain the particle size ratios, maximum dry density and optimum moisture content, and compression modulus of specific mixes, and the triaxial shear test proves that each stress-strain curve basically conforms to the Duncan-Zhang hyperbolic relationship assumption before the peak occurs.Finally, numerical simulations were carried out for different working conditions in combination with the three-dimensional calculation model, and the calculation and analysis of the Bishop consolidation theory were used to obtain the settlement displacement, horizontal displacement development and pore pressure dissipation process of the calculation model. The landslide stability of the slope is calculated and the minimum safety coefficient under normal conditions and the minimum safety coefficient under seismic conditions are both calculated by Swedish method and Bishop method respectively, both of which meet the requirements and determine the technical feasibility and reasonableness of the scheme. In the conclusion part of this paper, the problems and handling measures in the construction process are summarized to provide valuable experience for similar projects.

    The aim of the paper is to discuss the existing landscaping basis of Beidaihe,find out the problems there and the solutions,based on the overall layout of Hebei province and Qinhuangdao city.The author believes that landscaping in Beidaihe should make full use of the existing landscaping facilities there,plant more valuable tree species,improve landscaping level,and improve landscaping in both rural-urban fringe areas and rural areas so as to expand landscaping space in Beidaihe District and construct a sound ecological environment.

    This paper introduces how the idea of new station structure modeling (hybrid structure) amalgamating the structures of civil engineering and construction in the stations built on the separate type 2-plane, 2-track viaducts has been formulated, the outline of the hybrid structure, structural characteristics, the concept of structural designing to amalgamate civil engineering and construction structures, effects of their improvements as compared with the conventional structures, and important points to note when adopting them, including the examples of the projects on Kyushu Shinkansen and Tsukuba Express which are presently under construction.

    In this article,the author introduces the whole design and construction process of the foundation ditch support project of Yongjingtai Mansion.He analyzes how to select proper support structures under different geologic conditions and different environment zoning and segmentation conditions when designing the foundation ditch of Yongjingtai Mansion.He also states some construction requirements of design and construction of rotary spray pile water\|resistant curtain,soil nail wall and anchor rod etc.,and provides treatment measures for some special situations in construction and use\|period of such foundation ditches.

    As a hidden engineering,the constructing technology of joint grouting is comparatively complicated comparing with other grouting types,it puts forward much more requirement on preparation and procedure control.The paper introduces main dam joint grouting technology and technical process of Laxiwa hydropower station,and proposes several points of quality control during grouting process,thus provides some reference for similar engineering in the future.

    This article is concerned with the design and construction of the Renfrew motorway sewer, which was built to avoid overloading Glasgow's existing sewerage system. Particular reference is made to the problems created by the presence of underground railway tunnels, poor ground, the depressed motorway profile and the need to minimize tidal effect. After a general introduction the author discusses design criteria and the choice of a suitable route which passed under the underground railway. This includes a discussion of the factors which led to the type and method of construction used. The next part of the article is concerned with the actual construction work, and includes details of the equipment used which included a stelmo shield in the soft ground tunnel and of the tunnel lining. It also includes information relating the blasting methods that were used and the laying and backfilling of the pipes which involved the use of an aliva 300 concrete placing machine. Reference is made to the caulking of joints which was carried out to overcome the problem of containing the compressed air used in the construction in the sheet pile shafts and at the junction with the air deck. /TRRL/
