The purpose of this article is to clarify some of the issues involved in the contextualization/ syncretism discussion, to sharpen Adventist focus on the problems of under-contextualization, as well as over-contextualization, and then to suggest a balanced approach to contextualization, to highlight the ongoing challenges to contextualization within Adventism, and to list safeguards for the Seventh-day Adventist Church as it approaches the task of mission contextualization. Perhaps it is good to remind each other at the beginning of this paper that the only reason why we would ever put our church through the challenges of doing contextualization is that every person in God’s creation has the right to hear a clear gospel presentation that is unencumbered by syncretistic cultural baggage. Much of the syncretism that we observe in our world is caused by poor contextualization, not over-contextualization, so it is important that we learn to do contextualization right.

Under the background of quality teaching, teaching evaluation should pay special attention to whether students can abstract knowledge points from actual situations and solve problems by using knowledge points in contextualization questions. The contextualization of the test question increases the amount of information, making the question more complicated and increasing the difficulty of the test questions. This paper analyzes the factors that influence the difficulty of contextualization question from question length, logical levels, coordinate units and language expression to provide some references for relevant researchers.

(can also download directly from http://www.berith.org/pdf/Trinity_Contextualization.pdf)In this brief paper, we wish to consider the question of whether or not the early church employed a method that might be called contextualization in its formulation of the doctrine of the Trinity. First, we must ask what contextualization means. Then, we will be able to investigate the process by which the church formulated its doctrine to see if it might be legitimately called “contextualization.”

This is a review of evidence for contextualization, defined here as an instructional approach connecting foundational skills and college-level content. Two forms of contextualization are identified, contextualized and integrated instruction. Despite methodological limitations, the available studies suggest that contextualization has the potential to accelerate the progress of academically underprepared college students.

This study focuses on the Contextualization mission strategy of Paul throughout the Book of Acts. It explains Acts chapter 15 of Jerusalem’s Council, chapter 13 of Preaching to Jews, chapter 14 to Gentiles, and chapter 17 to Athens Philosophers. Paul utilizes contextualization in his missionary methods through his speech and during important Jerusalem meetings in the Book of Acts. This study does not deal with all epistles of Paul’s mission strategies. It explains contextualization in the mission strategy of Paul in Acts 13 where he teaches Jews in Antioch, Acts 14 Gentiles in Lystra, and Acts 17 Philosopher of Athens. This purpose of this study is to correct the contextualization mission strategy of Korea churches through the study of Paul’s mission strategy.

Over the last decade, it has become increasingly apparent that the microbiome is a central component in human well-being and illness. However, to establish innovative therapeutic methods, it is crucial to learn more about the microbiota. Thereby, the area of metagenomics and associated bioinformatics methods and tools has become considerable in the study of the human microbiome biodiversity. The application of these metagenomics approaches to studying the gut microbiome in COVID-19 patients could be one of the promising areas of research in the fight against the SARS-CoV-2 infection and disparity. Therefore, understanding how the gut microbiome is affected by or could affect the SARS-CoV-2 is very important. Herein, we present an overview of approaches and methods used in the current published studies on COVID-19 patients and the gut microbiome. The accuracy of these researches depends on the appropriate choice and the optimal use of the metagenomics bioinformatics platforms and tools. Interestingly, most studies reported that COVID-19 patients’ microbiota are enriched with opportunistic microorganisms. The choice and use of appropriate computational tools and techniques to accurately investigate the gut microbiota is therefore critical in determining the appropriate microbiome profile for diagnosis and the most reliable antiviral or preventive microbial composition.

Our current approach towards contextualization as essentially a theological enterprise is an appropriate foundation, but no more than a foundation. In this article I outline a contextualization paradigm that goes beyond theologizing to include all that the Christian faith is and all that following Christ calls us to do. Such an approach may be called comprehensive contextualization.
