Abstract:
A strategy for designing a dual-circularly polarized (DCP) transmit-reflect-array (TRA) based on a mosaic metasurface is proposed. The mosaic metasurface with a thin panel thickness of 0.14 $\lambda_{0}$ is created by mixing two types of full-space meta-atoms using a genetic algorithm-based optimization method, which provides four degrees of freedom of beamforming to independently manipulate the transmitted and reflected DCP beams. The measured bandwidth of the prototype is better than 30.7% for the transmitarray and 47.5% for the reflectarray, with both gain variation and axial ratio below 3 dB.Keywords:

Digital models are considered the most important in documenting the mosaic floors tools. So, take advantage of the high capabilities in monitoring and documentation, analysis and manifesting required by the mosaic floors and murals. Also, these digital models dealing with large amounts of spatial and metadata. This means that the use of the large data that is collected from the mosaic floors and electronic transfers, which allows more than one user to access or manage and edit them to give wider dissemination horizon. Consequently, they contribute to the electronic documents for floors mosaic mural. This study shows that the numerical models can be used to perform various analyzes in documenting mosaic flooring. Keywords : Geographic Information System (GIS), spatial support decision-making (SDSS), remote sensing (RS), digital modeling (DM), mosaic floors (MF)

The article provides a comprehensive overview of all types of mosaic tesserae produced in our territory that were used by artists in the former Czechoslovakia for mosaic works. Except in the literature of the split and prefabricated, so-called pliers of pressed mosaic glass and sintered mosaic, the article describes the production of mosaic prefabricates, which were made in the 1950s in Železný Brod. It explains in detail the differences in the production of vertically and rotationally pressed stones, localizes their production and presents its data, specifying their appearance. It is devoted to the technology of producing cast (rolled) mosaic cubes, which are confused with sintered ones. The overview of the typology ends with a summary of the history of mosaic creation from flat glass. Part of the description of individual mosaic stone production technologies are examples of the works that have been created.

The Book of the Watchers (BW) is generally considered a non-Mosaic if not an anti-Mosaic writing. In more recent research, discussions on the meaning of such labels are ever so prevalent. Nevertheless, the positions do not move far beyond the common patterns of interpretation. The present paper explores the different presuppositions and arguments supporting the assumption of the non- or even anti-Mosaic character of the BW and proposes a reading beyond the antagonism “Enochic” versus “Mosaic.”

In this paper we propose an image-based mosaic generation system using traditional mosaic patterns which adaptably assigns the mosaic patterns according to the properties of image region. We first segment an input image based on a regularity and directional similarity. Then, we assign an appropriate pattern to each segment using three traditional patterns, which are commonly used in an ancient art. Since our mosaic system effectively mimics a traditional mosaic making, we can stylize an image similar to the hand-made mosaic without any user intervention.
