    Abstract:
    We propose a new object-centric framework for learning-based stereo 3D object detection. Previous studies build scene-centric representations that do not consider the significant variation among outdoor instances and thus lack the flexibility and functionalities that an instance-level model can offer. We build such an instance-level model by formulating and tackling a local update problem, i.e., how to predict a refined update given an initial 3D cuboid guess. We demonstrate how solving this problem can complement scene-centric approaches in (i) building a coarse-to-fine multi-resolution system, (ii) performing model-agnostic object location refinement, and (iii) conducting stereo 3D tracking-by-detection. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach, which achieves state-of-the-art performance on the KITTI benchmark.     The JJG30-2002 Verification Regulation of General Calipers,which was put out by state,replaces five traditional verificafion regulations for vernier caliper,dial caliper,digital display caliper and vernier depth gauge.Comparing with the traditional regulations ,it has five provisions changed greatly.This paper discusses the five provisions from their charcterization,reasons for improving and related consequence.

    Objective:To compare ocular dimensions measured with CT in vivo and with vernier caliper for enucleated eyes, and the significance of ocular dimension measurement with CT was assessed. Methods:The ocular dimensions of 15 eyes were measured with CT before eye enucleating, and the enucleated eyes were measured with vernier caliper.The comparison of measurement was evaluated.Results:The anteroposterior dimension and horizontal dimension was 25.37±1.38mm and 25.26±1.70mm respectively with CT measurement,24.95±1.27mm and 24.93±1.63mm respectively with vernier caliper.There was no significant differences(P0.05).Conclusion:Formation of ocular image with CT examination could be two-dimensional simultaneously. It was audio-visual, clear and comparatively accurate. The CT measurement for ocular dimensions was an effective method. [FK(WB80011。5]

    Because she had been blind since birth, we knew that our new student, Cricket, would be unable to make the necessary measurements needed to get any meaningful lab data while all of the other students would be able to use highly accurate commercial Vernier calipers. All we had on loan for Cricket was a Brailled plastic tactile meterstick with low resolution divisions to the nearest whole centimeter. This was unacceptable, considering that the other students were achieving very accurate and consistent readings with their analog Vernier calipers to the nearest 0.005 cm. So using the Vernier scale concept, we decided to make a low-tech tactile wooden “Vernier caliper” that would have much more resolution and be quick and easy to use by anyone, even if totally blind.

    Vernier calliper is very much used either by measurement laboratories and production. Vernier calliper measurement tools necessary to calibrate each period of 12 months, with a calibration done will determine the value of the correction/error and the value of the measurement uncertainty of measuring instruments vernier calliper. In this study calibration of vernier calliper follow the standard JIS B 7507 - 1993 at which the standard has been described specification requirements vernier calliper. Based on the results of the calibration has been done vernier calliper I have a maximum error of 0.00042 mm and the value of the uncertainty confidence level at 95% with a coverage factor of k = 2 is U95 = ±59.02 μm, vernier callipers II has a maximum error of 0.01994 mm and uncertainties confidence level at 95% with a coverage factor of k = 2 is U95 = ±59.42 μm. Both vernier callipers meets the requirements based on JIS B 7507-1993.

    Accurate and fast access to Vernier caliper readings is a critical issue in automated verification of Vernier calipers.To address this problem, this paper proposes a machine vision-based algorithm for reading the Vernier caliper's displayed value.The suggested method first employs threshold segmentation and template matching to determine the region of interest and obtain the main ruler digit position by alternate projection.Then, we apply the improved LeNet5 network to identify the main ruler of the Vernier caliper, Moreover, we developed the first and last inscription method for reading the decimal part of the Vernier caliper and established our data set for model training.Extensive experiments on reading the displayed value have demonstrated our algorithm's accuracy, which achieves a displayed value reading accuracy of 100%.Compared to other methods, the proposed technique affords better stability and accuracy.

    The design and application of a new type multipurpose vernier micrometer caliper were introduced.Comparing with traditional vernier caliper,the multipurpose vernier micrometer caliper possessed an additional differentiable structure.Its vernier caliper part enlarged the measure scale and increased functions.The differentiable structure advanced the precision of the vernier caliper.The multipurpose vernier micrometer caliper has the advantages of convenient use,large measure scale,multipurpose design and high precision.It makes up the shortages of traditional vernier caliper and micrometer.
