In this issue, we announce a new editorial board. The previous members served for a long time, and it is time for new blood. The editorial board previously did not have a clearly-defined role. We have adapted the following from IEEE journal practice: The Editorial Board (EB) provides guidance to the Editor-in- Chief. It helps to identify new opportunities to attract authors, it promotes awareness of the journal, and nominates Associate Editors. The EB also serves in the role of Appeal Board in problematic review cases. EB members are encouraged to promote the concept of special issues, and to identify potential themes and guest editors. An EB member is appointed for 5 years with the option to be reappointed for an additional 5 year term.

At the Editorial Board meeting of Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, it was agreed that Letters to the Editor should (whenever possible) be refereed by one Editorial Board member serving as the Honorary Editor's representative. If an appropriate board member is not available, then an experienced senior referee will be chosen instead and, if his or her report is positive, an Editorial Board member will be selected to approve publication. Authors will have the right to appeal against an unfavourable decision, in which case the Letter will be referred to the Honorary Editor of the journal.

I joined the IoT Magazine Editorial Board as Editor-in-Chief at the beginning of this year. It is my great pleasure to serve along with an outstanding Editorial Board and publication staff members. IoT Magazine is relatively a young magazine, only started in September 2018, but it already has had a significant impact; there were over 38,000 IEEE Xplore downloads in 2020. Our goal is to improve the impact further to the next level. We have made significant changes this year to the publication and Editorial Board as discussed below.

Being on the editorial board of a journal is truly productive, pleasant and in fact prestigious which helps in add-on to the scientific world through the ways and guidelines given by experts in the relevant fields. Though, it is time consuming and often goes unobserved, there are some important rewards that make the editorial board members worthwhile. You will be entitled following benefits while working with us as an editorial board member/reviewer of the journals.

THE EDITORIAL BOARD—WHO'S WHOEditorial Board Members are usually names on a masthead who anonymously review articles. They add their expertise to the more general knowledge of an editor and assist in the selection of articles for publication. They also are used by the editor as the (usually unnamed) experts who have recommended disapproval of one's cherished paper! They are always hard working and are the backbone of any journal. The Editorial Boards of Pediatrics in Review serve all of these functions and more. Readers may be interested in their roles. We have two Editorial Boards: A Policy Board and an Editorial Consulting Board. Both are made up of approximately equal numbers of practicing pediatricians and full-time teachers.
