Electrical resistance tomography (ERT) is always used in the field of detection of medicine、prospecting、two phase flow at the present time. It is rarely used to measure structure under condition of loading. In this paper, with the characters of different response - resistance effect showed by carbon fiber felt when attached to the different matrix, we developed a new type of smart layer of carbon fiber composites, the composite material has a very high pressure-resistance sensitivity, combined with ERT technology, the structure surface electrical resistivity distribute can be conversed, thus the structure of the surface of the load situation can be analyzed.

In this paper,it was verified that the improved strain(YZ-3) of Porphyra haitanensis Chang et Zheng obtained previously in the lab is a high-temperature resistant strain.When the conchospores of the YZ-3 strains and the wild-type strain (WT) were cultured at 28 ℃ and 29 ℃,the survival rate of conchospores was 73.2% and 52.6% for YZ-3 strain,but 10.3 and 4.6% for WT strain,respectively.The division rate of conchospores at 28 ℃ and 29 ℃ was 100 and 82.8% for YZ-3 strain,and 89.7% and(65.9%) for WT strain,respectively.Both survival and division rates of conchospores of YZ-3 strain were significantly higher than those of WT strain either in culture at 28 ℃ and 29 ℃.When the conchospore germlings of YZ-3 and WT strains which have been cultured at 24 ℃ for 35 days were cultured at 24 ℃,28 ℃ and 29 ℃ for 25 days,the mean length of blades increased 33.6,23 and 15 times for YZ-3 strain,and only 7.7,1.4 and 0.9 times for WT strain compared with the original mean length,respectively.When the blades cultured at 24 ℃,28 ℃ and 29 ℃,the mean length of the blades of YZ-3 strain was 3.8,8.8 and 7.4 times as WT strain,respectively.When the blades were cultured at 28 ℃ and 29 ℃,the blades of WT strain began to decay after cultured for 15 days,however,the blades of YZ-3 strain did not decay even being cultured for 25 days.These results indicated that YZ-3 strain is strongly resistant to high temperature(28 ℃ and 29 ℃).

Duroc and Strain A were used for the terminated paternity and formed 8 crossing combinations with (L×Y),(Y×L),(strain B×strain C), (Y×strain C) which were used for female line respectively. Fattening test living weight 20~90 kg, slaughter determination and analysis of carcass qualities showed daily gain of Duroc ×(L×Y) combination is the highest (704 g) during fattening periods, and it was more higher than Duroc×(strain B×strain C), strain A×(L×Y) and strain A×(Y×strain C). Moreover, it showed very significant difference with strain A×(Y×strain C). The mixium of feed to gain ratio combination is strain A×(L×Y). combination D×(L×Y) and Duroc×(Y×strain C) were determined preliminarily to be desired patter of three-way crosses according to comparing meal quality of better fattening performance combination.

This review discusses the use of electrical resistance and potential change in various methods for monitoring Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) composites. CFRP composites have electrical conductivity as they contain carbon fibers. When fibers and fiber networks break within the structure its electrical resistance changes; the electrical resistance of carbon fiber changes with the applied strain just as physical resistance varies in a conventional strain gage. Using these changes in electrical resistance damage to CFRP composites can be monitored and applied strain measured without implementation of additional sensors. This makes CFRP a self-sensing material. The electrical resistance change method has been applied for decades to detect carbon fiber breakages. As regards the measurement of applied strain, there is divergence of opinion amongst researchers about the piezoresistance of CFRP. This discrepancy is discussed in detail in this review. For monitoring damage such as delamination cracks, the electrical resistance change method can accurately estimate the location and dimension of the damage. This review also discusses electrical potential change and eddy current methods for monitoring CFRP composites.

A comparative study on culture effects of four different strains of Macrobrachium rosenbergii(new introduced strain,former introduced strain,positive hybridized strain and reverse hybridized strain) was conducted in this paper.The results indicated that the new introduced strain had the most productive capability.In the test basin,the yield of the new introduced strain was 3.40% higher than the reverse hybridized strain, 8.35% higher than the positive hybridized, and 12.16% higher than the former introduced strain. In the test pond, the unit yield of the new introduced strain was 21.24% higher than the reverse hybridized strain, 27.60% higher than the positive hybridized, and 11.12% higher than the former introduced strain ,and the heterosis of the hybridized strain is not distinctive.

Suqiu Yellow chickens were used to study the pathogenicities of eleven geographical strains of Eimeria maxima,assessed by clinical symptom,gross pathology,weight gain,lesion score and mortality.The results were as follows:The clinical symptoms and the gross intestinal pathology were similar in birds infected with all the strains and died of coccidiosis.The body weights in all infected groups were affected,and except the groups at 0.1×10~4/bird,the weight gains were significantly different from that of the control groups(P0.05).When the dose was 10×10~4/bird,the weight gains were the lowest in groups infected with Shanghai strain and the largest in groups infected with Suzhou strain and Longyan strain,but there were no significant differences(P0.05).And the lesion scores were the lowest in groups infected with Suzhou strain or Longyan strain and largest in groups infected with Yangzhou strain,but except Suzhou strain,there were no significant differences(P0.05).The infections with Yangzhou strain,Lianyungang strain,Fuzhou strain,Guangzhou strain and USA strain at dose of 10×10~4/bird caused a mortality of 20%,10%,10%,10% and 10%,respectively.It suggested that Yangzhou strain and Shanghai strain were the highest pathogenic,and Suzhou strain and Longyan strain were the least pathogenic among all the strains.

The genus Sediminibacterium comprises species present in diverse natural and engineered environments. Here, we report for the first time the genome sequences of the type strain Sediminibacterium salmoneum NJ-44 (NBRC 103935) and Sediminibacterium sp. strain C3 (BNM541), isolated from activated sludge, a valuable model for the study of substrate-dependent autoaggregation.

The experimental data showed that the morphological variation of the culture of strain 243 of Streptomyces levoris, Krass, producing telavimycin (antibiotic 243) resulted in the formation of three morphological types differing in some features from the initial culture. Cultures of the type I and II colonies were most promising for selection. Strains producing higher yields of the antibiotic as compared to the initial strain 243 were selected from these cultures. After exposure of the spores of strain 243-96 to UV light in a dose of 500 erg/mm2 a highly productive strain 243-197 was isolated. The activity of this strain is 51 per cent higher than that of strain 243-96.

The application of nitrogen ion beam injection technique in the mutation of high-yielding validamycin-producing strain was explored.After injecting 15×1013 nitrogen ions per metric centimeter with the intensity of 10 keV into validamycin-producing strain for mutation,the regenerated single-colonies were inoculated in shake flasks for the selecting of high-yielding strains.A mutative strain 9275# was obtained,the content of effective component A in strain 9275# was 33.52% higher than that in the original strain,and 9275# had high genetic stability.
