Abstract:
Quality discharge teaching prepares patients and families to transition safely from hospital to home. Technology can enhance and support quality discharge teaching by promoting patient family engagement during the transition. The purpose of this mixed methods study was to explore clinical nurses' experience with using Engaging Parents in Education for Discharge, an iPad application to guide quality discharge teaching. Twelve nurses at a large Midwestern Children's Hospital participated in small focus groups after use of the Engaging Parents in Education for Discharge application and completed a questionnaire on their perception of the acceptability and feasibility of the app. Findings revealed three themes: (1) development and deployment issues focused on the importance of training and support by the study team during implementation; (2) workflow integration centered on the importance of incorporating use of the app into current workflows and to preserve effective communication strategies with parents to optimize use in the healthcare setting; and (3) nurses perceived value in the use of the Engaging Parents in Education for Discharge app for beneficial scripting, questions on discharge topics often forgotten, and guidance for complex patients. Results of this study offer insight into key components for consideration when implementing and integrating technology to aid nursing practice. How does deployment affect reenlistment? The authors look at this particular issue in wake of the high rate of military deployment throughout the 1990s and with the prospect that deployment will rise even more in the coming years. The research finds that reenlistment was higher among members who deployed compared with those who did not. The analysis suggests that past deployment influences current reenlistment behavior because it enables members to learn about their preferences for deployment.

Abstract In order to effectively improve the processing speed of centralized deployment in enterprises, this paper proposes a research based on HANA to accelerate the application technology of centralized deployment of ERP system. By optimizing the configuration of data processor unit in ERP physical deployment module, the running efficiency of the system is accelerated. The optimized data processor is used to calculate the parameter index of centralized deployment acceleration authority. According to the parameter index, the deployment role framework of each department of the enterprise is reasonably allocated, so as to reduce the centralized deployment operation time, achieve the goal of accelerating the system operation, and finally realize the effective application of the centralized deployment ERP system acceleration technology. Finally, through comparative experimental tests, it is confirmed that the actual application effect of the HANA - based accelerated application technology for centralized deployment of ERP system can reach more than 90 %, which is significantly improved compared with the traditional centralized deployment accelerated technology.

Deployment occurs in almost every branch of the military, and the experience differs for each family and each family member. To reflect the diversity of experiences, military professionals have proposed various models of the deployment cycle to assist families in the transition. There are at least five phases that are common across models: pre-deployment, deployment, sustainment, preparation (also known as redeployment), and reunification (or home-coming). Recognizing that each family is unique, this deployment cycle is intended not as a rulebook but as a helpful guide to families as they experience deployment of a parent. This 4-page fact sheet was written by Elizabeth Thomas and Larry F. Forthun and published by the UF Department of Family Youth and Community Sciences, March 2013.

In the previous chapter, I covered deployment and how to create a pipeline. Still, one of the central concepts when building the pipeline is understanding the deployment strategy and which type you will use, because there are multiple deployment types, each serving a different purpose depending on the use case and the company approach.

In combat simulation, some arranged operations should be done, including force arrangement and deployment. As the simulation scale is becoming larger and larger,if it is deployed using the traditional means, the efficiency is low and result precision is poor. The visualization deployment system was constructed using GIS as basic framework, and two deployment modes were designed, the first is single deployment using deployment tree based on XML file, the second is batch deployment using deployment file drew from combat design. Finally, deployment map and deployment information database for combat simulation were built. At last, the design in combat simulation was achieved.
