Abstract:
Background: Skin is the largest organ of human body comprising and covering the whole body organs.Ayurveda defines skin and its disorder under Twacha, Twak Vikara and Kushtha.Kashyapa Samhita an ancient text of Ayurveda paediatrics defines different childhood skin disorders and its management.There are large differences among the Ayurveda practitioners regarding skin disorders and its correlation, hence in present article the reasoning for difference and all possible corlations of childhood skin diseases has been discussed.Material and Methods: To discuss the childhood and neonatal skin disorders and its Ayurveda diagnosis approach in today's scientific time.Data Source:All Ayurveda classical texts, reference book, journals, websites, e-resources on dermatology, anatomy and literature on skin.Review Methods: Data on the Kushtha, and Skin diseases has been reviewed from all possible Ayurveda Texts, also the different research articles on skin and dermatology from all scientific indexed journal research papers, and other authenticated data bases has been reviewed, analysed, discussed and concluded.Conclusion: Ayurveda methodology for diagnosis of Kushtha is very scientific and time tested and is useful to find the diagnosis of even newer skin lesions of childhood and newborn, with rationale and scientific approachCite

Background: Long-term treatment with low to moderate dosages of the antimetabolite and antifolate medication methotrexate (MTX) has been shown to be effective, safe, and well-tolerated for a wide range of autoimmune diseases.As a result, methotrexate may be used to treat vitiligo and other autoimmune disorders.The hepatotoxic and hematologic side effects of the drug's topical formulations, which were developed for the treatment of localized lesions, were deemed to be clinically insignificant.Objective: This review article aimed to assess the possible role of topical methotrexate in the management of vitiligo.Methods: Methotrexate, and the vitiligo were all looked for in PubMed, Google scholar, and Science direct.References from relevant literature were also evaluated by the authors, but only the most recent or complete studies from January 2005 to May 2021 were included.Due to the lack of sources for translation, documents in languages other than English were ruled out.Papers that did not fall under the purview of major scientific investigations, such as unpublished manuscripts, oral presentations, conference abstracts, and dissertations, were omitted.Conclusion: Topical methotrexate use could be an effective and safe treatment modality of vitiligo.

A 61-year-old housewife first noted symptoms of Raynaud phenomenon and cutaneous scleroderma in 1963. Progressive dyspnea with pulmonary fibrosis and rightsided cardiac failure began in 1969. Since 1973, she has had intermittent episodes of cramping abdominal pain with nausea along with dyspnea, cough, and loss of weight. In November 1974, the patient was hospitalized because of progressive abdominal pain and vomiting. Physical examination demonstrated advanced skin changes of scleroderma, signs of pulmonary hypertension, and cardiac failure. The abdomen was distended but soft and nontender. Bowel sounds were normal. Results of laboratory studies were normal except for findings indicative of moderate malabsorption. Figures 1 through 3 were obtained on this admission.Diagnosis
Scleroderma of the skin, lung, esophagus, and the small bowel, complicated by pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis and pneumoperitoneum.Comment

Early postoperative pain is one of the most important problems in pediatric orthopedic surgery.Introduction of the use of ultrasound (US) has led to very important developments in pediatric regional anesthesia.We aimed to present with the literature data about that we applied the bilateral US-guided sciatic nerve block to the patient who was operated under bilateral knee disarticulation because of congenital tibia agenesis and talipes equinovarus.In conclusion we entertain that US-guided peripheral nerve blocks are effective and safety for postoperative pain in pediatric orthopedic surgery.
