Abstract:
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) facilitates the safety and efficiency of civil air transport. As an intergovernmental regulatory organization, its objectives are set down in annexes to the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago, United States, 1944), which prescribe standards, recommended practices and procedures for facilitating civil aviation operations. Keywords:

Coping with the problem of expansion in aviation transportation with corresponding increase in volume of aviation emission and consequential environmental pollution has become a global issue. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the global body saddled with the responsibility of ensuring reduction in aviation emission created the International Standards Regulations known as Standards And Recommended Practices (ICAO SARPs) for the purpose of regulating aviation emission and achieving clean and sustainable environment. Accordingly all member states of ICAO are expected to adopt and implement the Standards Regulations in their respective states. The newly revised Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations 2015 is meant to ensure adequate reduction in aviation emission in Nigeria through effective adoption and implementation of ICAO’s International Standards Regulations on reduction of aviation emission. This paper assesses implementation of international law on reduction of aviation emission in the newly revised Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations 2015. It adopts doctrinal research method, relying on library based materials from primary and secondary sources. The paper observes that although the adoption of International Standards and Regulations on reduction of aviation emission has commenced in the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations 2015, the process of actual implementation is yet to take good shape and become effective in Nigeria. Therefore, the paper recommends timely and effective implementation of International Standards and Regulations on reduction of aviation emission in the current Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations. At present, China's civil aviation is booming. The number of large, medium and small civil aviation enterprises is growing rapidly, and various civil aviation models are introduced rapidly. The huge market attracts the attention from the world, but also to a large extent inspired the domestic civil aviation maintenance enterprises to expand the maintenance capacity, and the enthusiasm of the domestic aviation industry into civil aviation maintenance. Civil aviation aircraft structure is very complicated, therefore, not only set mechanical principle, transmission principle, electric motor principle, communication principle, automation principle into an organic whole, and fault complex, often typical fault, fault, preventive fault, and the influencing factors on the quality of the civil aviation flight has a lot of, such as weather, maintenance and operation scheduling and service concept, etc. The purpose of civil aviation maintenance management is to ensure that civil aviation aircraft remain airworthy. With the development of China's civil aviation, the number of civil aviation aircraft increases rapidly, which puts forward higher requirements for China's civil aviation maintenance management level. Formulate the direction of industrial development, enhance the competitiveness of China's civil aviation maintenance industry, and summarize some operable suggestions for the development of China's civil aviation maintenance industry. It is hoped that this study will provide some ideas for the development of aviation maintenance industry in China.
