Abstract:
Empowerment of MSMEs is very strategic, because of its great potential in driving the economic activities of the community, and at the same time being the main source of income for the majority of the community in improving their welfare. MSME competence is important because it will increase MSME productivity and performance. One of the ways to increase the competence of SMEs is through learningPhilosophy of Education. The purpose of this research is toDescribe the role of educational philosophy in the development of human resources.Can there be a radiology productivity system that enlists the eager support of technologists and is endorsed by management? Can there be a productivity system that involves 10-15 minutes of time per day to manage and produces meaningful results? Can there be a productivity system that is run by employees? The following article describes a productivity system implemented at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital that answers these questions in the affirmative.

Self-Help Group (SHG) is considered an effective means of women empowerment. However, its effectiveness is subject to its functioning. The present paper the status of SHGs in state-wise and districts of Odisha. It attempted to examine examined the role of self-help groups in women empowerment based on a random cross-sectional survey of 132 households from Karanjia Block of Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. From the assessment of various benchmarks of empowerment, the results revealed that there was an increase in income, expenditure, and savings of the household of the members of the SHGs. However, improvement was more pronounced in social spheres, viz. self-confidence, participation in decision-making, control over family finance, and communication of the members.

This article analyses, on the basis of empirical fieldwork, the impact of return migration on the empowerment position of Bolivian female return migrants from the City of Cochabamba. It challenges the dominant discourse on migration and female empowerment, emphasising the empowerment processes while being 'away'. Using Charmes and Wieringa's (2003) empowerment model, we explore the empowerment processes of women upon return. We argue that the majority of the women experience economic empowerment during their departure and stay abroad. Upon return, however, this form of empowerment can only be attained by splitting up with their partners, thus also affecting their social empowerment position. As such, the article contributes to the body of knowledge on empowerment as a process, which aligns with the current practice of migration as a nonlinear process, with people moving back and forth.

This paper is a study of various aspects of women’s empowerment in Bihar. A number of scholars agree that microfinance is an effective tool of women’s empowerment. An attempt has been made to assess Socio-economic impact of microfinance on empowerment of women. This paper also sheds light on the role of empowered women in their families and societies. The findings of this paper are based on secondary sources of data.

Empowerment of women is a holistic concept. It is a multi-dimensional approach and it covers social, political, and economic aspects. This paper used questionnaires and focus group discussions to shed light on the question if non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have increased women’s empowerment in Bangladesh. Looking at two study areas and two NGOs (the Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) and Nari Uddug Kendra (NUK)), the results of the case study show that these two NGOs have helped women with economic empowerment, but that progress with women’s overall empowerment has been limited.

Women empowerment is an important issue in our development. There has been a lot of debates on definition and operational aspects of the empowerment, particularly women empowerment. The up-coming self help groups in India are well defined means to achieve empowerment in rural areas. We have made a sincere attempt to analyze SHG from major dimensions focusing on empowerment. We believe and hope the book will be of much useful to the students, field workers, researchers and all others dealing with women empowerment.

Empowerment can be described as a process which helps people to have their control over the factors which affect their lives. Empowerment of women means developing them as more aware individuals, who are economically productive and independent and are able to make intelligent discussion in matters that affect them. Empowerment of women can help improve women’s position in society. Present study discusses about the nature and extent of impact of NGO on economic empowerment of rural women. Analysis has been conducted on the extent of economic empowerment achieved by the members of NGO through their participation. This study concludes with the note that due recognition must be given to women to lead an economically as well as socially empowered life.

Abstract The current study aims to develop an integrated model for women empowerment in rural India using primary data collected from 3000 women across 60 villages from East, West, South, North, and Central India. Exploratory factor analysis came out with the three main dimensions of women empowerment, namely, economic, social and human, and legal empowerment. A conceptual model is thus devised, which throws light on key areas that can be developed. Reforms are required to make rural women economically independent, providing them social freedom and utilities and ensuring a strict and favourable judiciary system for ensuring women empowerment.

This article explores the issue of women’s empowerment in Cameroon, looking at the ways in which the gains of empowerment are constantly depleted by forces of disempowerment. It highlights the complexity and peculiarity of the Cameroonian experience of empowerment and disempowerment, as deduced from official reports and social science studies. It then moves on to analyse a play text by Cameroonian writer Anne Tanyi-Tang to determine the extent to which this dramatic text both sheds light on the dynamics of empowerment and disempowerment and offers possibilities for women’s economic empowerment and social transformation. The article argues that the play Ewa proposes significant strategies for women’s economic and social empowerment which involves engaging in enterprising business activities in combination with educational pursuits, while also breaking away from social relationships that enforce women’s disempowerment and pursuing lifestyles which enable self-empowerment.Keywords: Anne Tanyi-Tang, Cameroon, disempowerment, education, empowerment, Ewa, women’s economic independence
