    Abstract:
Objective: The aim of this paper was to report two cases and management of Ludwig’s angina in a Nigerian tertiary health facilty. Methods: Ludwig’s angina is an acute onset, potentially life-threatening surgical emergency in young adults that presents with rapidly expanding, diffuse inflammation of the submandibular and sublingual spaces, mostly from odontogenic infections. Results: One of the sequelae is airway compromise. Given the sparse health facilities and poor access to health, we observed an increasing rate of Ludwig’s angina secondary to odontogenic infections in our practice. We present two cases of Ludwig’s Angina arising from delayed dental treatment. Conclusion: Socioeconomic status and unrest due to insurgency have hampered early presentation and management

This chapter explores presentation skills relevant to business and management students, covering presentation design, presentation delivery, and building confidence in giving presentations. Presentation design covers areas from thinking about the purpose of the presentation to ways of designing slides for maximum impact. Presentation delivery focuses on personal performance in terms of practice, voice techniques, and body language. The final aspect, building confidence in giving presentations, is more psychological in nature; it shows how a student can influence their confidence through how he or she thinks and behaves.

A presentation strategy is the design, approach, or method you use to transfer information to those attending your presentation. For example, a poor strategy for delivering a research report is to stand up and read the entire report. Participants attending this presentation are likely to become bored and consequently may have difficulty focusing on the information. An improved approach is to use supporting media (computer presentation, flip charts, videos, etc.) to illustrate essential points of the report. This illustrated presentation might then be followed by a discussion about implications of the report. Using several strategies or methods appropriately will help the participants concentrate throughout your presentation. In this chapter you will learn seven of the most common strategies you can use to deliver your presentations:

An effect of presentation on improving levels of understanding is discussed and reported. In order to improve understanding levels of students, traditional lectures and experimets are not sufficient. We consider that a learned knowledge will be refined through presentation to other person. The understanding levels will be also improved through discussing with listener of the presentation. We assigned our students a presentation task at open campus. They presented about Fleming’ s left hand rule to guests. In this paper, it is evaluated that the understanding levels of students is improved through presentation.
