Abstract:
Conditional automated driving [level 3, Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)] requires drivers to take over the vehicle when an automated system’s failure occurs or is about to leave its operational design domain. Two-stage warning systems, which warn drivers in two steps, can be a promising method to guide drivers in preparing for the takeover. However, the proper time intervals of two-stage warning systems that allow drivers with different personalities to prepare for the takeover remain unclear. This study explored the optimal time intervals of two-stage warning systems with insights into the drivers’ neuroticism personality. A total of 32 drivers were distributed into two groups according to their self-ratings in neuroticism (high vs. low). Each driver experienced takeover under the two-stage warning systems with four time intervals (i.e., 3, 5, 7, and 9 s). The takeover performance (i.e., hands-on-steering-wheel time, takeover time, and maximum resulting acceleration) and subjective opinions (i.e., appropriateness and usefulness) for time intervals and situation awareness (SA) were recorded. The results showed that drivers in the 5-s time interval had the best takeover preparation (fast hands-on steering wheel responses and sufficient SA). Furthermore, both the 5- and 7-s time intervals resulted in more rapid takeover reactions and were rated more appropriate and useful than the 3- and 9-s time intervals. In terms of personality, drivers with high neuroticism tended to take over immediately after receiving takeover messages, at the cost of SA deficiency. In contrast, drivers with low neuroticism responded safely by judging whether they gained enough SA. We concluded that the 5-s time interval was optimal for drivers in two-stage takeover warning systems. When considering personality, drivers with low neuroticism had no strict requirements for time intervals. However, the extended time intervals were favorable for drivers with high neuroticism in developing SA. The present findings have reference implications for designers and engineers to set the time intervals of two-stage warning systems according to the neuroticism personality of drivers. Keywords:

BSRI check list was used to survey and analyze the distribution of sexual personalities of 399 university students of different subjects. The result shows that there are four types of sexual personalities as double-personality,masculine-personality,feminine-personality and undifferentiated-personality in university students. The double-personality students got the highest score,as well the undifferentiated-personality students got the lowest score. The reports of different sexual personalities students have significant statistical significance, and the learning interest, learning habits and learning methods of double-personality students are better than others.

Personality types are seen as useful fictions that offer a short-hand way of referring to different configurations of personality information within people in an efficient and reasonable easy to communicate labels. Two broad, almost philosophical approaches to addressing the question of the basic units of a science of personality have emerged in personality psychology: approaches focused on dimensions versus those focused on types. The question the authors tackle in this chapter concerns which of these two approaches is the more valid and useful way to organize the field of personality. The idea that people's personalities fit into discrete categories that reflect natural kinds is a myth. In other words, there is little support for the idea that personality types are distinctive forms.

In this study, we investigate if it is possible to intentionally implement personalities into the physical interaction which people later can recognize. Prior studies showed that people can recognize personalities in the appearance of products. Few studies however address personality in physical interaction. From experience, we know that people in some situations describe their interaction with products in terms of personality traits. Designers also often claim that they can implement personalities in products. Still, quantitative research on product personality in interaction is lacking. Is it actually possible to intentionally implement personalities in physical interaction that people recognize? Two artefacts (stimuli) were designed in the study, with the intention to elicit one personality each (dominant and elegant) while interacting with them. The personalities were selected from literature and from an exploratory study among design students. In preparation for the designing the artefacts, the characteristics of both personalities were studied in the workshop. Following the workshop, a set of personality characteristics were defined and implemented in the design of the two artefacts. The personality characteristics experienced while physically interacting with stimuli were later evaluated in a quantitative study with 60 respondents. The results of the study indicate that people recognize personalities while physically interacting with the products. The results also suggest that it seems possible to predefine (and intentionally embody) the personality people experience in the interaction. Besides discussing the implications of these findings for designers and companies, the study also includes a design process to support the implementation of personalities in the physical interaction of products.

The theory of personality development has become the focus of the research on personality psychology for Russian researchers due to the need to establish a harmonious society with individual personalities. The Russian personality developmental psychology is based on the theory of personality by Marx. The researches by early psychologists like Leontief,Bozovic,Daweituofu,Dodonov,Petrovsky and Mukhina have determined the basic research direction of the personality development in Russia. They believe that personality results from acquired development and is formed in social activities through devoloping relations with others and the whole society. Therefore, personality is a social product.Psychologically mature personality is one with highly developed ability and awareness, while typical personality is developed through a highly internal harmony.Positivity is the core of personality, and personality is immortal.

Estimating a person's personality is essential in understanding how they manage stress, lead, communicate, collaborate, and influence others. One of the critical factors that affect how people interact with their environment is their personality. This project aims to utilize machine learning and also natural language processing techniques to predict the personality of students based on a questionnaire. The system analyzes the user's personality in the database, which already records personality traits. The system then identifies the user's personality based on the MBTI model, a widely used personality model. This project's significance lies in the capability of the system to aid students, teachers, and businesses in identifying students' personalities to plan their actions better. The ML and NLP techniques implemented in this system can categorize or anticipate students' personalities, thus assisting businesses in their hiring process.

Describing and making assumptions about the personalities of others is something we all do in everyday life. Phrases such as 'She has lots of personality' and 'He has no personality' are typically used. In a psychological sense, however, these phrases are meaningless. All people have a personality and they differ not in the amount, but in the kind of personality they have.
