    Abstract The method of fluorination using antimony pentachloride and anhydrous hydrogen fluoride 1 has, by a simple modification, been extended to allow the almost quantitative conversion of the ‐C,Cl 3 radical to ‐CF 3 , in chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, as‐tetrachloroethane, and methyl chloroform.

    Based on the comparison of various techniques of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride from fluosilicic acid at home and abroad,a novel anhydrous hydrogen fluoride production technique by utilization of fluosilicic acid from phosphate fertilizer enterprise is proposed.Firstly,the aminolysis reaction of fluosilicic acid the ammonium fluoride solution and silica.Then,the obtained ammonium fluoride solution is turned into ammonium fluorosilicate which is prone to crystallize.The solid ammonium fluorosilicate is used to produce hydrogen fluoride and silicon tetrafluoride by reacting with concentrated sulfuric acid.Finally,the anhydrous hydrogen fluoride can be obtained by cooling the mixed acidolytic gas.The silicon tetrafluoride is return to the recycling system as well.

    Abstract A procedure is described for the analysis of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride containing) the following impurities: sulphur dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, sulphuric acid, fluorosilic acid and water. The use of glacial acetic acid as a diluent for the anhydrous acid simplifies both the technique and the apparafus previously required when water was used as the diluent.

    The vapor‐liquid equilibrium of the binary system was determined, especially in the range of low water concentrations. The purity of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride used in this work was 9N (99.9999999%) with a conductivity of (water concentration of 0.033 ppm). We elucidated that the vapor‐liquid equilibrium of the binary system obeyed Raoult's law below (18 ppm) water concentration. We determined the activity coefficients of and at the boiling point of the binary system .
