Abstract:
Summary Energy is the cornerstone of the existence and development of modern society. The energy consumption continues to increase, and the ensuing environmental pollution and increasing lack of traditional energy sources have also become the world's most concerned issues. The emergence of new energy has eased the current unfavorable situation. Among them, distributed photovoltaic (PV) power generation has been favored because of its abundant resources and no geographical restrictions. However, due to the scattered construction of solar PV power stations, it is not easy to manage. Therefore, research and development of PV remote monitoring systems for unified monitoring and management of PV power stations. In addition, the problem of solar cell output efficiency is also an important reason that restricts the utilization of solar energy. Improving the output efficiency of the battery based on the existing solar cell conversion efficiency is also a focus of current research. Based on the above background, the research content of this article is the network communication monitoring system for distributed PV power generation systems. This article first conducts the overall design of the PV remote monitoring system, constructs the system's distributed design structure, and divides the underlying hardware part of the system into control modules and transmission. According to the application requirements, the STM32 series single‐chip microcomputer is selected as the controller of the system control module and the transmission module. The hardware circuit design and software process implementation of the system are studied to realize the data collection, MPPT control, and remote data transmission of the photovoltaic system. Features: Finally, through experimental simulation, it was verified that the light intensity increased from 600 to 800 W/m 2 , and the output current of the inverter increased accordingly. The output current of the distributed PV power generation system was directly proportional to the change of the light intensity. The designed system is feasible.Keywords:

The various forms of solar energy - solar heat, solar photovoltaic, solar thermal electricity, and solar fuels offer a clean, climate-friendly, very abundant and in-exhaustive energy resource to mankind. Solar power is the conversion of sun light into electricity, directly using photovoltaic (PV). The forecasting of energy Demands have become concerns for facility managers, and predicting energy generation plays a critical role in power-system management, scheduling, and dispatch operations. A reliable energy supply forecast helps to prevent unexpected loads and provides vital information for decisions made on energy generation and purchase. However, study of energy generation prediction by the photovoltaic (PV) system has been limited over the years, especially concerning short-term predictions. This study will helps in providing the details on different type of models and techniques of solar power forecasting.

As an important method of regenerated energy utilization, photovoltaic power generation has been vigorously developed at home and abroad in recent years. As a kind of photovoltaic power generation, distributed photovoltaic power generation can make full use of relatively scattered sites such as residential houses, factories, and buildings for installation. Compared with centralized photovoltaic power generation, distributed photovoltaic power generation has the characteristics of flexible power generation module design, local consumption, and short investment payback period. Therefore, it has been vigorously developed in recent years. In order to meet the high quality research and development needs of distributed photovoltaic module-level power conversion devices, and achieve accurate evaluation and analysis of the technical performance index of the developed products, this paper proposes a the test and evaluation platform of distributed photovoltaic comprehensive energy efficiency and elaborates its software architecture design.

Abstract One of the challenges in photovoltaic solar plants is the performance maintenance in the presence of adverse environmental conditions. Soiling on the solar panels is one of those challenges having a high decrease impact on the power generation. This work proposes a statistical methodology that estimates the energy losses due to soiling on photovoltaic solar plants. Using environmental and power generation data, the proposed methodology predicts the energy generation using a regression model; and then evaluates if the differences between the observed energy generation data and the predicted energy data are due to soiling. The experiments to validate the system are based on one-year dataset of environmental and power generation data from a solar plant located in the northeast region of Brazil. The results showed that the daily energy losses estimates ranged from 2.20% up to 12.31% in a period less than a month.

At present the use of solar energy for power generation has increased in recent years, this is due not only to climate change but also to reduce costs of solar technology materials and equipment. The paper assesses the energy generation potential of photovoltaic systems in the Caribbean region of Colombia based on data extracted from NASA Surface Meteorology and Solar Energy. The solar energy atlas for Caribbean region was generated using ArcGIS program. The analyzed results indicates that in the Caribbean region of Colombia there is a huge energy generation potential of photovoltaic systems with annual electricity generation of 1554.47kWh/kWp and performance ratio of 79.63% which is good for PV systems. This study is important as generated results are vital for the development of PV systems in the region and also the results can be used in the future social, economic and environmental impact study for deployment of these systems; and selecting the suitable area and appropriate technology that can adapt to the conditions of this region.

The distributed rooftop photovoltaic power generation system is an important system of solar energy utilization in China. In the present paper, the performance of distributed rooftop photovoltaic power generation system is analyzed. The results showed that the data of Meteonorm, Solargis and NASA is effective in China. And the Meteonorm data source is preferable. The effect of actual installation inclination angle on the system power generation can be ignored when the angle is less than 20°.
