    Basing on the karst hydrogeological investigation of Buckwheat river basin,Qiaojia county of Yunnan,a karst water subsystems namely karst water system of longdong underground river in the whole basin is researched on its recharge relationship. That the percolation of surface water is an important origin of groundwater recharge is determined by analysis and investigation of the hydrogeological characteristics of the region in the first place. Then,sample data of the karst water system is processed by water chemistry and drawn on trilinear chart of Piper using Auto CAD software. The surface water and groundwater chemical characteristics of this karst groundwater system are analysed by the trilinear diagram. Further the relationship and connection of recharge is proven.

    Evaluation of groundwater recharge is one of the most important parts of the groundwater resources assessment in arid regions,the reliability of the groundwater resources assessment is low at many areas because of lacking of groundwater monitoring data or low degree of hydrogeological survey. Based on the groundwater level of long-term monitoring wells,the groundwater recharge quantity in Nalingguole River area was evaluated by using water-table fluctuation method,which just only needs aquifer parameters and groundwater level change values over a period of time. According to the results,the amount of groundwater recharge resources is 5. 21 × 108m3/ a in 2011 and 6. 16 × 108m3/ a in 2012 at study area. This method is relatively simple and avoids the direct calculation problem of groundwater resources items. It has certain reference significance at low study of hydrogeology of groundwater resources assessment in arid regions.

    In the paper,based on the hydrogeological conditions of the Ejina Basin,a groundwater flow model for the Ejina oasis is established with the GMS software package. Groundwater dynamic and groundwater recharge and discharge from 2000 to 2011 with the time interval of one year are analyzed using the simulation results. The research results show that( 1) the average of the groundwater discharge is 3. 54 × 108m3/a while the average of the groundwater recharge is 3. 67 × 108m3/a within the modeling period. River leakage accounts for 78% of the total recharge,and evaporation,63% of the total discharge.( 2) Groundwater in the unconfined aquifer recharges the confined aquifer in the study area,and the amount of recharge is 0. 23 × 108m3/a.( 3) The annual groundwater storage in the study area increases within the modeling period,except for the 2001,2004,2009 and 2010. The difference in average groundwater balance is 0. 13 × 108m3/a.( 4)After the ecological water conveyance,the groundwater levels in the area rise slowly. The average annual rise rate is 0. 02 m /a. Compared to other region,the rise in the groundwater levels near the river,which were affected by the river evolution,is greater than 0. 04 m /a. The maximum rise is in the East River 's lower course.
