Abstract:
The automotive industry has come a long way since its starting with a horseless carriage in the 1860s.The automotive sector is regarded as an important driver of economic growth.The paper looks into the ongoing development in the automobile industry.The current study is explanatory in nature and gathers data on the automobile industry.It provides in-depth knowledge of the most recent developments in this sector.The results show that the Asian market, with its availability of a large and cheap labour force and growing market, has seen significant maturation.In contrast, with its culture of research and innovation and the presence of major automobile companies, the European market has been able to draw growth from other parts of the globe, which has ultimately allowed them to maintain their stance in the market.There has been massive development in the automobile sector in recent years.But an increasing number of competitors, environmental laws and other multiple factors are affecting the industry.The findings implies that these factors need to be properly tracked as it plays a crucial role to predict the future market and helps in better understanding the automobile market to gain sustainable competitive advantage.At first,This article analyzed the characteristics of external environment of Chinese automotive parts industry.Then this article analyzed the trends of china's automotive parts industry's development and described the current situation of Chinese automotive parts industry and the problems with detailed data.At last,based on the SWOT analyze,This article put forward the development strategy for Chinese automotive parts industry.

The international automotive industry has a well-developed and complex infrastructure. At the same time, while the automotive industry is one of the key sectors of the economy in some countries, in others it is just developing, and in still others it is in a state of stagnation. The article gives a forecast of the automotive industry's development for groups of countries, including Russia, identifies macroeconomic factors that affect the development of the automotive industry, and groups automobile-producing countries according to their results for 2010.

It is very important to make certain that the automotive industry is the leading sectors in our country' s economic development. Nowadays there are different opinions about whether the automotive industry is the leading sector or not a-mong various provincial economic fields. The paper investigates the role of the automotive industry in the Baltic, Visegrad and Iberian region, summarizing the relevant literature. In the analysis of each country, the study discusses the importance of the automotive industry in the national economy and the role of individual countries in the global trade. Based on the literature there are different approaches regarding the activities belonging to the automotive industry. The vehicle production is vertically integrated, therefore the industry involves many other activities that sell their products to other industries as well. On the other hand economic contribution of the automotive industry can be interpreted in a broad way including downstream activities related to the use of the motor vehicle, and the socioeconomic employment as well. The broader definition of automotive industry in this paper is based on this previous approach. The study defines the automotive spillovers on the basis of the NACE nomenclature to show how these activities contribute to employment, production and value added in the examined countries.

With the rapid development and great success of automotive industry,many regions regard automotive industry as main stay industry.In order to make comprehensive appraise on the competitiveness of automotive industry,the paper constructs the evaluation index system of competitiveness of automotive industry from four facets:industrial scale,efficiency,technology capability and growth capability. Based on evaluation index system,we analyze the gap between the competitiveness of automotive industry of different regions by using the datum from 2001 to 2009.The analysis results show that Chinese automotive industry competition is obviously regional difference.There is a distinct polarization the regions with well developed automotive industry and there are strong growth capabilities in the regions with poor developed automotive industry.The conclusion plays an important reference to promote the development of Chinese automotive industry.

Based on firm-level research and development (R&D) data, we evaluate the extent of functional upgrading in the Czech automotive industry between 1998 and 2008. The analysis draws on a unique database of 476 Czech-based automotive firms with 20 and more employees in the broadly defined automotive industry, a survey of 274 automotive firms and twenty-five in-depth company interviews. In addition to assessing changes in the extent of automotive R&D, we analyze the most important locational factors of automotive R&D in Czechia and its regional distribution in the country. We examine changes in the spatial concentration of automotive R&D between 1998 and 2008.The analysis is conducted for foreign-owned and domestic companies separately to evaluate the differences between these two groups of firms. Based on this analysis, we consider changes in the relative position of the Czech automotive industry in European automotive production networks between 1998 and 2008.

Automobile industry of Anhui has become the important supporting industry of Anhui economy.But development of Anhui automotive industry is not balanced.The automotive industry has certain influence power,while the automotive parts industry is relatively backward.This paper adopts SWOT analysis upon the inner and external environment that Anhui automotive parts industry is facing and puts forward corresponding proposals.

This paper attempt to analyse the global competitiveness of the South African automotive industry with a major focus of it local content and importation of automotive components, a well-structured questionnaire was developed after a careful literature review and administered in the case studies automotive industries, the analysis indicates that importation of cheap automotive components have a negatively impact on the South African automotive industry and proper control of importation will be a possible solution for a well balance and competitive improvement for the South African automotive industry.
