Abstract:
The Encyclopedia of DNA Elements (ENCODE) is an ongoing collaborative research project aimed at identifying all the functional elements in the human and mouse genomes. Data generated by the ENCODE consortium are freely accessible at the ENCODE portal (https://www.encodeproject.org/), which is developed and maintained by the ENCODE Data Coordinating Center (DCC). Since the initial portal release in 2013, the ENCODE DCC has updated the portal to make ENCODE data more findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable. Here, we report on recent updates, including new ENCODE data and assays, ENCODE uniform data processing pipelines, new visualization tools, a dataset cart feature, unrestricted public access to ENCODE data on the cloud (Amazon Web Services open data registry, https://registry.opendata.aws/encode-project/) and more comprehensive tutorials and documentation.Keywords:

Currently, online encyclopedias have become the main source of encyclopedic knowledge all over the world. Russia is somewhat behind the leading countries in this area. The Russian-language Wikipedia has been developing more or less on a par with its neighbors. However, recently, unfortunately, anti-Russian articles began to appear there, which is why a group of wiki editors had to distance themselves from Wikipedia and initiate the creation of a new encyclopedia independent of it – Runiversalis. The Great Russian Encyclopedia, which is moving belatedly to the Internet, shows the still modest results. The article suggests certain solutions designed to intensify the reorganization of online encyclopedias and provide an additional level of comfort for the reader. Emphasis is placed on the need for permanent operational updating of articles posted on the web and the role of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the creation of encyclopedias.

It might seem that a book about encyclopedias should be mostly about their contents. After all, what was an encyclopedia but a collection of contents? One response is that encyclopedias were part of a system, one that included their creators, their users, and their roles in society. Seen from this vantage, their contents were not necessarily of the highest importance, even to a purchaser.

Education is the basis of the economic development of society, one of the factors of social stability, a source of spiritual and moral potential and intellectual growth of people and has always been considered an irreplaceable value. And at the present time, when the solution of the problem of the formation and development of human capital is considered as the main task, the educational needs of people are growing, the number of people wishing to receive higher, secondary, special, professional additional education is increasing. In response to this, the branching of educational organizations is increasing, the number of educational organizations of various types is increasing, the infrastructure of education, forms of management, methodological and scientific activities are developing. Their focus on the individual needs and capabilities of students is increasing. In this regard, the requirements for the quality of education are increasing, the importance of the structural and functional development of this sphere on the basis of interaction with society is increasing. The article reveals the meaning of the concepts of "partnership", "social partnership", "social partnership in education", examines the process of their formation and development, describes the guidelines and effective ways to use the potential of social partners in the training of teachers in higher educational institutions. In contemporary society, encyclopedias play an important role, being one of the symbols of statehood and an indicator of the level of development of science and culture. The article substantiates the transformation of the role of the encyclopedia in the life of society in different historical eras, and defines the development of encyclopedia studies as a scholarly domain. The encyclopedic genre is one of the most complex of another in book publishing, and therefore encyclopedia creation processes are used technology different from other publishing technologies.

The study describes the appearance features of the “Berdiansk Encyclopedia”, the main directions of its preparation, the search for materials for articles, the involvement of authors, the assistance of local lore studies are showed. ~ ~ ~ Purpose of the article - to develop a modern model of universal scientific encyclopedia for Russian regions. As shown in the study, the model is de-identified type of Wikipedia encyclopedia at the regional level has few prospects. In the face of falling demand for printed products universal encyclopedia of the region must be electronic and original, but it is necessary to take into account the experience of the creators of Wikipedia on the use of freelance writers. The study of local history in schools makes education a major consumer of regional encyclopaedias. Students and teachers, as well as other social groups should be able to not only readers, but authors of the articles of the regional electronic encyclopedias.
