    The Ramam spectrum of the Kangshifu mineral water,Robust mineral spring water,Nongfu spring drinking of natural water,Wahaha natural mineral water were tested.The results indicate that with the increasing of minerals concentration,the relative intensity of the Raman peaks decreased.

    Trace elements present in bottled mineral water have been studied by PIXE and ICP-MS. Samples from ten different brands of bottled mineral water were prepared by preconcentration techniques. Measurements were carried out using the 2 MeV proton beam obtained from 3 MV Tandem pelletron accelerator at the Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar. Our results are compared with Indian standard packaged natural mineral water specifications, World Health Organisation (WHO) and European guidelines for drinking water standards. Concentration of aluminium was found to be more in one of the brands. In general, our results are comparable to the above standards.

    Natural mineral water which todays attract more trend rather that tap water in urban societies and has been appreciated for high level hygiene. This study considered microbiological quality of packaged natural mineral water marketed in Lorestan province where 35 samples were purchased randomly, were tested for presence of different indicator microorganisms. 31.42% out of 35 samples didn't fulfilled standard condition in terms of unacceptable total Coliforms count while E. coli, Staphylococcal, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcal, Sulfite-reducing Clostridia counts weren't observed. Those results revealed the necessity of more control on treatment and filling process which might be the most probable steps for sanitation.

    Water is the most important nutrition for human health, but with the development of society more and more waters are polluted and less and less water is potable 1,2 .The pollutants include organic pollutants 3 and inorganic pollutants, such as heavy metals 4 .On the another hand, we drink not only for H 2 O but also trace elements, including K, Ca, Mg, Sr, Si and many other elements.For water safety and water nutrition, there are many mineral water brands, most which named high trace elements content and safety.But natural mineral water must meet the national standards and must be processed before sale as drinking water and the processing course can also be the pollution pathway.This paper determined the contents of trace elements and heave metals in a spring from Beijing and its processed mineral water to study the nutrition and safety of this mineral water and its processed mineral water.The natural mineral water was collected from Emei mountain of Pinggu district, Beijing city.Processed mineral water: the natural mineral water was collected from Emei mountain was filtered through quartz sand and almond carbon firstly, then filtered through carbon fiber and finally sterilized by ozone.
