The physical sciences research programme was funded by a UK industrial company and the presenter was previously involved in the programme management of the initiative. Insights will be provided in terms of the technical, commercial and social alignment between the university and industrial sponsor including the management activities undertaken. The presentation will also include supporting data on collaboration trends, including data on the prevalence of collaborative teams in research and university-industry collaborations. Finally, details will be provided of the Programme Management Office (PMO), which has been set up to provide management support for collaborative research projects across Imperial.
