Abstract:
In Chapter II, we discussed the different features available in Oracle™ that can be used to implement an object-oriented model. We will use those features in this chapter. The discussion in this chapter will be categorized based on the relationship types. There are three distinct relationship types that we have to consider in object-oriented modeling for implementation in object-relational databases: inheritance, association, and aggregation. Some manipulations will be needed in order to accommodate the features of these relationships. Keywords:

Culture inheritance can be divided into two parts: overinheritance and inadequate inheritance. Overinheritance means that the knowledge of the livingpeople has far surpassed that of the ancient people and it is only to study the past and look for similar thoughts between the ancient people and the living people while inadequate inheritance means that the living people are short of the thought of the ancient people which can satisfy the need of the living people and has an active influence on the practical life today. The distingnishing between the two different kinds of inheritance may deepen people's understanding of the inheritance of traditional culture and search for the things which are really worth inheriting so that the inheritance quality can be improved.

ECMA-262 defines an object as an unordered collection of properties. Strictly speaking, this means that an object is an array of values in no particular order. ECMA-262 describes characteristics of properties using internal-only attributes. These attributes are defined in the ECMAScript specification and implemented in JavaScript engines, but they are not directly accessible in JavaScript. There are two types of properties: data properties and accessor properties. The Object class includes a hefty number of static methods used for inspecting and manipulating objects. Since all non-primitives in JavaScript inherit from Object, these can be used on any object. The concept most often discussed in relation to object-oriented programming is inheritance. Many object-oriented languages support two types of inheritance: interface inheritance, where only the method signatures are inherited, and implementation inheritance, where actual methods are inherited.

In the previous chapters you explored some of the basic ideas of object-oriented programming in Objective-C. As you have seen, OOP is the main software development concept that motivated the creation of the language. A chief feature of OOP is the ability to create new classes that inherit methods, variables, and properties from other existing classes. You see, then, that to master the language you need to attain a good working knowledge of the concept of class-based inheritance.

The recognition of human behavior is essential for robots to expand into the human society. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for extracting the object of human action based on an association model between motion symbols and objects. Action is described as reciprocal and specific information connected body motion and environment. The proposed association model represents such object specification of action by latent states between motion symbols and object symbols. The robot observes human motion and environments around human. And the robot infers object of action based on object specification of action acquired by the proposed association model. We validate our approach by conducting an experiment with captured human motion data and camera images.

We discuss the accuracy of a mechanism, called Oracle, to assess position and transmission ranges in VANET. We prove that, in the best case, the assessments of the oracle are exact. Moreover, we prove that the average case of the Oracle coincides with its best case. Therefore the Oracle is optimal. The errors that afflict the assessments of both the positions and the transmission ranges depend on the relative speeds between the vehicles. We prove that the distribution of those relative speeds is an unimodal distribution peaked in zero. We show and briefly discuss the results of several experiments we made, that fully confirmed our theoretical results.

Semantic visual simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) is a fundamental capability for autonomous driving. The high performance of semantic SLAM algorithm is based on the assumption of correct object association. However, most previous work utilize a single method to associate objects, which cannot remove the ambiguity of object association very well. Incorrect object association can degrade the semantic SLAM performance. In this paper, we propose an ensemble association method to associate objects. We combine geometric features with object appearance information to consider the effect of multiple information on object association results. Additionally, the bag-of-words algorithm is introduced to measure the similarity of object appearance for better association decisions. Experimental results on the KITTI dataset show that the method improves both the accuracy of object association and the performance of semantic SLAM.

Teletext provides free financial information in the U.K. via Ceefax (BBC) and ORACLE (ITN). These two services are com pared for coverage, timeliness and layout. ORACLE gives more share prices than Ceefax but in most other areas Ceefax is superior. The FT Index reported with a mean delay of 10-14 minutes on Ceefax and 15-19 minutes on ORACLE. A small panel of viewers decisively preferred the layout of Ceefax to that of ORACLE. The mean length of company reports on ORACLE is twice that on Ceefax.
