    These new genus and species of locust were collected from the Dayao Mountains of middle east Guangxi. All type-specimens are deposited in Shanghai Institute of Entomology, Academia Sinica.

    This paper reports a new genus and three new species of Cantantopidae (Orthoptera) from Hubei Province, China. They are Shennongipodisma gen. nov., Shennongipodisma lativertex sp. nov., Pedopodisma xingshanensis sp. nov. and Pedopodisma rutifemoralis sp. nov. respectively. The type specimens are deposited in Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University and Department of Biology, Huanggang Normal University.
