Abstract:
The alkali deweighting treatments of double knitted fabric from Coolmax moisture management fiber under different concentration of alkali were carried out.The influences of concentration of caustic soda on deweighting rate,strength,dyeing behavior,wicking ability and softness of Coolmax fabric were discussed.Based on trials,it was showed that the specific surface area of Coolmax fiber was larger,so its deweighting rate was higher than that of common polyester fabric,and better wicking ability,softness and deepening effect were available,but when the deweighting rate was high,the abnormal degree of fiber cross-section was decreased and fiber was damaged.Keywords:
