    Abstract:
In ordert to improve the efficiency of inspection for printed defect and meet the real-time requirement for printed defect inspection, the article is proposed to application of machine vision on on-line inspection for defect and studies related problems. The article designs the program of on-line inspection for printed defect and visual on-line inspection system of the hardware components based on DSP.The article also studies algorithm of image pre-processing,image processing and image registration. We improve these algorithms to meet the real-time requirement for printed defect inspection. We design the software named printed defect machine vision system. It proves that the inspection program and algorithm of image processing is feasible through simulating process of defect inspection.

There may be printing's image defect in printing during the course of print. It is absolutely necessary for Print Corporation to inspect printing with defect. Traditionary printing defect inspection is usually completed by manpower, whose inspect quality is instability, and inspect efficiency is low. The paper proposed a method of printing's image defect inspection based on machine vision, sot up an experiment system. Familiar printing defects such as filar defects, zonal defects, punctuate defects and block defects are inspected in the experiment, which proves practicability of the method and has value of extend application.

It is very important to guarantee the quality of the industrial products by means of visual inspection. In order to reduce the soldering defect with terminal deformation and terminal burr in the manufacturing process, this paper proposes a 3D visual inspection system based on a stereo vision with single camera. It is technically noted that the base line of this single camera stereo was precisely calibrated by the image processing procedure. Also to extract the measuring point coordinates for computing disparity; the error is reduced with original algorithm. Comparing its performance with that of human inspection using industrial microscope, the proposed 3D inspection could be an alternative in precision and in processing cost. Since the practical specification in 3D precision is less than 0.02 mm and the experimental performance was around the same, it was demonstrated by the proposed system that the soldering defect with terminal deformation and terminal burr in inspection, especially in 3D inspection, was decreased. In order to realize the inline inspection, this paper will suggest how the human inspection of the products could be modeled and be implemented by the computer system especially in manufacturing process.

The development of inspection and quality checking using machine vision technique are discussed where the design of the algorithm mainly to detect the sign of defect when a sample product is used for inspection purposes. There are several constraints that a machine need to be improved based on technology used in vision application. CMOS image sensor as well as programming language and open source computer vision library were used in designing the inspection method. Experimental set-up was conducted to test the proposed technique for evaluate the effectiveness process. The experimental results were obtained and represented in graphical and image processing form. Besides, analysis and discussion were made according to obtained results. The proposed technique is able to perform the inspection process using good and defect ceramic cup based on detection technique. Moreover, based on the analysis gathered, the proposed technique able to differentiate between good and defect ceramic cup. The result shows that there is a difference frequency by 236 which is 2% of total value in pixels frequency. The frequency indicated as pixel frequency of image using histogram method based on scaled value of image.

Inspection of printed circuit board (PCB) has been a crucial process in the electronic manufacturing industry to guarantee product quality & reliability, cut manufacturing cost and to increase production. The PCB inspection involves detection of defects in the PCB and classification of those defects in order to identify the roots of defects. In this paper, all 14 types of defects are detected and are classified in all possible classes using referential inspection approach. The proposed algorithm is mainly divided into five stages: Image registration, Pre-processing, Image segmentation, Defect detection and Defect classification. The algorithm is able to perform inspection even when captured test image is rotated, scaled and translated with respect to template image which makes the algorithm rotation, scale and translation in-variant. The novelty of the algorithm lies in its robustness to analyze a defect in its different possible appearance and severity. In addition to this, algorithm takes only 2.528 s to inspect a PCB image. The efficacy of the proposed algorithm is verified by conducting experiments on the different PCB images and it shows that the proposed afgorithm is suitable for automatic visual inspection of PCBs.

This paper presents a recent innovation introduced by Ismeca in our novel vision platform, NativeNET, for the detection of surface defects in electronic device packages due to decoloration and which could not detected before. Up to now, mainly due to cost and processing-time constraints, most of inspection vision systems were working with monochrome images. Moreover, there is a need from semiconductor packaging industry to be able to provide new smart inspection which can detect more defects.
