Abstract:
Objective:To study the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of Qishen Jiangu Granule.Method: Models of xylene-induced mice ear edema,albumin-induced rats paw edema were performed to study the anti-inflammatory effect.Acetic acid-induced writhing and hot-plate test in mice were used to study the analgeic effect.Result: The inhibitory rates of low,medium and high dose of Qishen Jiangu Granule on mice ear edema were 13%,12%,and 16% respectively.Albumin-induced rat paw edema were significantly suppressed by Qishen Jiangu Granule(the medium dose was the optimum one).The writhing time of mice induced by hot plate and acetic acid-induced writhing were remarkably improved in a dose-dependent manner.(The inhibitory rate of which were 18%,39%,93%,73% and 12%,25%,48%,79%).Conclusion: Qishen Jiangu Granule has obvious anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect.Keywords:

Objective: To study the effect of Huayu Tongbi capsule therapy treating rheumatic arthritis.Method: Induce the model of arthritis in rats by Freund’s complete adjuvant(FCA).The rats were used and randomly divided into 6 groups: blank control,model control(isovolumic deionized water),Hanshibi granule(3.5 g.kg-1) and low dosage,middle dosage and high dosage with Huayu Tongbi capsule(1.1,0.55,0.27 g.kg-1).Drugs were administered to animals by gastric perfusion once a day for 14 days.During the experiment,measured the paw swelling of inflammation rats at 3,6,8,11,14,18,21,24 d,measured the opposite paw swelling of inflammation rats 8,11,14,18,21,24 d and measured the pain threshold value of rat by mechanical compression at 18,21 d.To study the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of drug by the mean of the ear edema resulted from dimethyl benzene,paw edema induced by egg white and mice twisting test.The experiment of rats same to above,The mouse were used and randomly divided into 5 groups: model control(isovolumic deionized water),Hanshibi granule(3.5 g.kg-1) and low dosage,middle dosage and high dosage with Huayu Tongbi capsule(1.4,0.7,0.35 g.kg-1),once a day for 7 days.Result: Compared to model group,the results degree of the paw swelling of inflammation rats were improved in the middle dosage and high dosage with Huayu Tongbi Capsule at 18,21 d(P 0.05),the results degree of the pain threshold value of rats by mechanical compression were improved in the high dosage with Huayu Tongbi capsule at 18,21 d(P 0.05).Compared to blank group,the paw swelling of inflammation rats by egg white were decreased significantly in the middle dosage and high dosage with Huayu Tongbi capsule at 4 h(P 0.05),the ear edema resulted from dimethyl benzene was decreased in the high dosage(P 0.05),the mice twisting test were decreased significantly in the middle dosage and high dosage(P 0.05).Conclusion: Huayu Tongbi capsule has the effect of anti-inflammatory and analgesia,can prevent and treat the Rheumatic arthritis.

Objective: To study the analgesic,antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect of Changyan Chongji. Methods: The antipyretic effect of Changyan Chongji was evaluated in rabbit fever model induced by peptone. The analgesic effect of the drug was studied with pain model of mice induced by acetic acid and hot plate. The severity of oedema in inflamed animal was observed to study the anti-inflammatory effects of Changyan Chongji. Results: Changyan Chongji could obviously inhibit the fever of rabbits. The number of writhing induced by acetic acid was reduced and the pain threshold of mice was increased by Changyan Chongji. Changyan Chongji also had anti-inflammatory activity against xylene-induced mice ear swelling and carrageenm-induced rat paw edema. Conclusion: Changyan Chongji has significant analgesic, antipyretic and anti-mflammatorv activities.

The Siwei Shaoyao Decoction possesses a marked effect on the alleviation of trigeminal neuralgia in rats caused by penicillin G potassium injection. As shown from the hot-plate test, it also has an obvious analgesic effect on mice. To some extent, the decoction has a significant anti-inflammatory effect on the acute edema in hind paws of rats and the effect is believed to be related to the reduction of capillary permeability.

Objective To investigate the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of Jiangu granules. Methods The model of mouse ear inflammation induced by xylol and the model of rats toes swelling induced by egg white, the effects of Chinese medicine on swelling of mouse auricle and rats toes were observed, and the effects of Chinese medicine on pain of mouse caused by acetic acid stimulus were observed by writhing test. Results Jiangu granules had obvious inhibitory effect on swelling of auricle and rats toes, and also had inhibitory effect on writhing response of mouse. Conclusion Jiangu granules, which is a nourishing kidney and strengthening spleen herb, has obvious anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

According to oriental clinic effect findings hitherto, Pilyongbangkamgil-Tang has been curative effects on chronic pharnygitis, acute tensillitis and angina. Auther tried to make clear the anti-inflammatory effect on rat paw which has become edema formation by of acetic acid/saline solution, and the analgesic effect on mouse thorough method of acetic acid because the medicine decoction of Kamipilyongbangkamgil-Tang, Pilyongbangkamgil-Tang, and the extracted powder of Pilyongbangkamgil-Tang are administered to rat and mouse. In present report, anti-inflammatory, analgesic effect of Pilyongbangkamkil-Tang, the extracted powder of the above prescription and Kamipilyongbangkamgil-Tang were estimated by the above test. The results are summarized as follows. 1. Kamipilyongbangkamgil-Tang (liquid), Pilyongbangkamgil-Tang and the extracted powder of Pilyongbangkamgil-Tang were tested for analgesic effects; Kamipilyongbangkamgil-Tang has the most effective analgesic function, then Pilyongbangkamgil-Tang, then the extracted powder, and I found that the t-test of those above prescriptions, in this order, should come to the result of voluntariness P〈0.001, P〈0.02, and P〈0.05 respectively. 2. Analgesic effects of pilyongbangkamgil-Tang and the extracted powder against the mouse pain induced by acetic acid have been strengthened by increase of double dosage and 4 fold dosage. 3. With Pilyongbangkamgil-Tang and Kamipilyongbangkamgil-Tang treated for rat, the increasing and the inhibitory rate of rat paw edema formation showed significantly statistical values, and the anti-inflammatory effect of the extracted powder of Pilyongbangkamgil-Tang is not supported so long than Pilyongbangkamgil-Tang. 4. The anti-inflammatory effect of Kamipilyongkamgil-Tang on the edema formed at the rat paw appeared significantly statistical value than the other sample.

Objective To study the effects of Yifei Tongluo granule on anti-tuberculosis,inhibit hypersensitivity,immune function and antitussive action.Methods Mouse model infected by Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37RV was selected to observe the anti-tuberculosis effect of Yifei Tongluo granule.The anti-allergic effect of Yifei Tongluo granule was evaluated by observing the swelling of right ear of mouse smeared with 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene.The effects of Yifei Tongluo granule on the carbon clearance index and the ammonia liquor induced cough mice were observed.Results The lung,liver and spleen protection functions of Yifei Tongluo granule were obviously increased in medium and high dose groups(P0.01).Yifei Tongluo granule could markedly inhibited the ear swelling of mice.The carbon granule clearance index and correcting carbon clearance index in groups treated with Yifei Tongluo Granule were increased significantly than the blank control group(P0.01).The cough incubation period of mice induced by ammonia liquor was significantly prolonged and the cough times in 3 minutes were decreased by Yifei Tongluo granule.Conclusion Yifei Tongluo granule has the function of anti-tuberculosis,inhibiting hypersensitivity,enhancing immune and relieving cough.

Aim To study the main pharmacodynamics of Yan Hou Shu Capsule (YHSC).Methods The YHSC `s expectorant and antitussive effects were evaluated by capillary test in rats and thick ammonia-induced cough in mice.The anti-inflammatory and detumecent effects were investigated by dimethylxylene-caused mouse ear swelling,carrageenin-challenged paw edema and the permeability of abdominal capillary by injecting glacial acetic acid in mice,respectively.The inhibitory effect of YHSC on acute pharyngitis induced ammonia was evaluated by pathohistology in SD rats.Results In vitro test,the low-,middle-,high-dose of YHSC (0.45,0.9,1.8g·kg -1 for rats and 0.9,1.8,3.6g·kg -1 for mice) was designed.The high- and middle-dose of YHSC significantly increased the phlegm exudation of rats and pronlonged the latent period and the frequence of cough induced by thick ammonia in mice.YHSC lightened the dimethylxylene-caused mouse ear swelling,carrageenin-challenged paw edema in rats and the permeability of capillary,in a dose-dependent manner.YHSC decreased the permeability of abdominal capillary in mice.The pathological changes were significant in the pharyngitis model as compared with the normal group.The middle and high dose of YHSC significantly improved the pathologic changes in a dose-depended manner.Conclusion YHSC had expectorant,antitussive,as well as significant anti-inflammatory effect.YHSC can help the prevention and therapy of pharyngitis.

Objective:To explore the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of retention enema with Qianlie Guanchang Recipe on experimental rats.Method:SD rats and kunming mice were randomly divided into five groups:low,middle and high dosage groups of Qianlie Guanchang Recipe,aspirin group,and control group.Anti-inflammatory effect of the drug was evaluated in rat models of paw edema induced by carragheenin and models of granuloma by cotton ball.Analgesic activity of Qianlie Guanchang Recipe was evaluated in mice models of pain induced by thermal stimulus and acetic acid.Results:The low,middle and high dosage groups of Qianlie Guanchang Recipe can inhibit paw swelling induced by carragheenin in rats(P0.05),and reduce the quality of cotton granuloma in rats(P0.05).Analgesic test showed that the drug can significantily improve the pain threshold of mice in the hot plate test(P0.05),and effectively inhibit the writhing response frequence induced by acetic acid(P0.05).The effect of the high dosage(60mL/kg) was the best among the three recipes as compared with the control group(P0.01).Conclusion:The low,middle and high dosage groups of Qianlie Guanchang Recipe have significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects;the effect of the high dosage is the best.

Objective:To study the anti-inflammatory,analgesic effects and acute toxicity of Qingre Yangyin Chushi Pill(QRYYCSP).Methods:Models of acute inflammatory reaction of xylene-induced mouse ear edema and paw edema induced by carrageenan in mouse were performed to study the anti-inflammatory effect of QRYYCSP.The analgesic effect of QRYYCSP was studied by mouse acetic acid-induced twisting experiment.The acute toxicity of QRYYCSP was validated by up-down method in mice.Results:The results indicated that ear edema resulted from xylene and paw edema induced by carrageenan in mice were significantly inhibited by QRYYCSP,and QRYYCSP could obviously produce analgesic effect on pain caused by acetic acid stimulus in mice.The LD50 values for QRYYCSP detected by up-down method were more than 5000mg/kg.Conclusion:QRYYCSP has significant effect on anti-inflammation and analgesia and basic non-toxic.

Objective To explore the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of Shuangwu numbness-relief decoction. Methods The anti-inflammatory effect was assessed by xylene-induced mouse auricular swelling and peritoneal capillary permeability; and the analgesic effect was assessed by hot plate method and acetic acid-induced twisting method. Results Shuangwu numbness-relief decoction at moderate or high dose had a significant inhibitory effect on mouse auricular swelling, with a significant difference as compared with the control group(P 0.01); the decoction at low, moderate, or high dose group played a marked inhibitory role in the increase in mouse peritoneal capillary permeability(P 0.01). Shuangwu numbness-relief decoction at moderate or high dose effectively reduced the writhing frequency in mice(P 0.01). The decoction at high dose increased the pain threshold in mice one hour after intragastric administration(P 0.05), and the decoction at moderate or high dose increased the pain threshold two hours after administration(P 0.05). Conclusions Shuangwu numbness-relief decoction has an obvious anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect.
