    Abstract:
    Objective To optimize the extraction process of total flavonoids from Gynostemma pentaphyllum.Methods The L9(34) orthogonal test was designed to investigate the effect of ethanol concentration,material-liquid ratio,extraction temperature and extraction time with the content of total flavonoids as index.UV-spectrophotometry was used for the determination of total flavonoids.Results The optimum conditions were as follows: 60% ethanol,material liquid ratio of 1∶60,extraction temperature at 90 ℃ and extracting time for 2 h.Conclusion The extraction process is feasible and suitable for extracting total flavonoids from Gynostemma pentaphyllum.

    In order to determine the optimum technological parameters to extract gypenosides from Gynostemma pentaphyllum (Thunb.) Makino by using dynamic continuous countercurrent extraction,the single factor and orthogonal experiments were carried out in pilot scale test to observe the effect on extraction efficiency led by acting factors.The results showed that the optimum extraction condition were as follows:the temperature was 80 ℃,the ratio of material to solvent was 1∶35(g/mL) and the time was 50 min.In such conditions the yield of extract was 33.95% and the yield of gypenosides was 8.9%.The dynamic continuous countercurrent extraction has the advantages of better continuity,higher gypenosides yield and higher purity.

    Objective:To optimize the extraction process of the total flavonoids in Agrimony.Methods:The content of total flavonoids in Agrimony was determined by ultraviolet spectrophotometry with rutin as the standard control.The yield of flavonoids was considered as the indicator to optimize the main influencing factors of extraction of Agrimony by orthogonal test.Results:The optimum extraction process was using eight times the amount of 50% ethanol,extracting 2 times,one hour for each time.Conclusion:The extraction process is economical,reasonable and feasible and it can provide the basis for the extraction of Agrimony.

    Objective To optimize the extracting process for total flavonoids from radix Puerariae. Methods Single factor and orthogonal design were respectively utilized to optimize extracting process of radix Puerariae. Concentration of total flavonoids was measured by the UV spectrophotometer and concentration of puerarin was measured by HPLC. The content of puerarin and the total flavonoids were used as indexes to evaluate the optimal extracting conditions. Results The results were showed that the optimum extraction process were as follows 30% alcohol as solvent 9 times of alcohol amount 3 times of extraction and 1 h per time. Conclusion This process was simple and feasible with good effect of extraction which can meet with the industrial requirements.

    Aim To extract total flavonoids from Herba Bupleuri using microwave-assisted extraction.Methods Factors influencing the extraction percentage were examined,including extraction solvent, material grade size, microwave time and power, solid-liquid ratio and pH.The orthogonal experimental design was also be used to optimize the condition.Results The optimized conditions of microwave-assisted extraction were as follows:the extraction solvent was 60% alcohol;the sample was above 120 Meshed;pH was 7~8;solid-liquid was 1∶30;the power of extraction irradiation was 640W and the extraction time was 3min.The extraction yield of total flavonoids was 8.5%,16.1% higher than that of heat recirculation of 2hours.Conclusion Microwave-assisted extraction is a rapid and efficient extraction technique for total flavonoids in Herba Bupleuri.

    Objective To study the compatibility and preparation of Shule granule prescription.Methods The volume fraction of ethanol,ethanol consumption,extraction time,extraction times on extraction Panax notoginseng results of the optimized technology were observed by orthorgonal experimental design.Simultaneously,the water decoction,methanol cold drawn and 95% ethanol reflux 3 times method in the extraction of Siegesbeckia orientalis L kirenol were compared.The ethanol reflux extraction,ultrasonic extraction and ultrasonic add ethanol reflux in the extraction of gynostemma pentaphyllum gynosaponins were compared.Each extraction,the remaining aqueous extract drugs and gun Jiazhu powder were mixed to prepare Shule granule.Results Extraction Optimize Panax notoginseng:the volume fraction of 70% ethanol,6 times the amount of ethanol,extracting for 30 min and extracting for 1 time.Methanol cold drawn of Siegesbeckia orientalis L was superior to water decoction.The better extraction of Gynostemma pentaphyllum was 75% ethanol ultrasonic extraction.Conclusion By the optimal combination of Panax notoginseng total saponins higher,ethanol ultrasonic extraction gynostemma pentaphyllum effect is good,methanol cold drawn of Siegesbeckia orientalis L is simple,efficient and applicable for large-scale production.

    Total flavonoids were extracted from Radix puerariae by microwave-assisted method.And the extraction process was optimized by single factor tests and orthogonal design.The results showed that the optimum extracting conditions were,solution to raw material ratio,35∶1(V/m,mL∶g);microwave-assisted extraction time,13 min;extraction temperature,75 ℃;ethanol volume fraction,50%.The yield of total flavonoids under these conditions was 7.31%.

    [Objective]To obtain the optimal microwave-assisted extraction process for total flavonoids from HERBA TARAXACI.[Method] The extraction rate of total flavonoids by microwave-assisted extraction,Soxhlet extraction and ultrasonic extraction were comparatively determined.The extraction conditions of microwave-assisted extraction were optimized by orthogonal test based on single factor test.[Result] The optimal extraction conditions for extracting total flavonoids from HERBA TARAXACI were: extraction temperature of 70 ℃,extraction solvent of 70% ethanol and extraction duration of 5 min.[Conclusion] The study provides an effective and rapid extracting method for total flavonoids from HERBA TARAXACI.

    This article investigated the optimal technology of total flavonoids from Houttuynia cordata Thunb by using ultrasound-assisted extraction(UAE) with the orthogonal design experiment.Using the extraction rate of total flavonoids as the guide and studying the four factors which influence the extraction rate by the orthogonal design experiment,the research result showed that the flavones extraction efficiency was 2.255 mg·g-1 when the proportion of stuff mass to 50% ethanol volume and last extracting for 20min under 40℃ and the optimum extraction process is stable and easy.

    The extraction of polysaccharides from Gynostemma pentaphyllum Makino was studied and the formula of the chewable tablet with the extracted polysaccharide as raw material was also studied in this paper.During the extracting process,four main factors including ratio of solid to liquid,extracting temperature,extracting time and degree were studied by single factor analysis method and the optimal processing conditions for water extraction and alcohol precipitation were obtained by orthogonal experiments as follow:ratio of solid to liquid 1:16, extracting temperature 100℃,extracting times 2 and extracting time 1h.The best formula of the chewable tablet was follows:Gynostemma pentaphyllum Polysaccharides powder 20%,starch 9.75%,sugar 40%,milk powder 12.30%,mannitol usp 14.95%and citric acid 0.5%.
