Abstract:
Objective To study the short-term efficacy and toxicities of docetaxel and oxaliplatin in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer.Methods 28 patients with advanced gastric cancer were treated with docetaxel(75mg/m2,d1),oxaliplatin(130mg/m2,d2).The chemotherapy was repeated every 21 to 28 days.Effacicy and toxicities were evaluated after 2 cycles of chemotherapy.Results There were 1 complete remission(CR),14 partial remission(PR),9 stabilization and 4 progression among 28 patients.The total effective rate was 53.57%.Conclusion Chemotherapy with docetaxel and oxaliplatin is effective in the treatment of patients with advanced gastric cancer with minimal and accepted toxicities.Cite
