    Germplasm Resource Investigation and Chlorogenic Acid Content Comparison of Flos Lonicera in Xincheng County

    Abstract:
    The germplasm resource of Flos Lonicera in Xincheng county was investigated.The results showed that there were 3 species of Flos Lonicera distributed in Xincheng county and they were Lonicera hypoglauca Miq.,Lonicera dasystyla Rehd.and Lonicera similis Hemsl.The chlorogenic acid contents and fresh/dry weights of 1 000 flower buds of different Flos Lonicera samples had difference among varieties and regions and they were increased along with the increase of altitude.The comprehensive score of economic characters of L.dasystyla was highest and the secondary was Lonicera hypoglauca.

    Lonicera Japonica Thunb is a kind of commonly used precious traditional Chinese medicine.According to Chinese Pharmacopoeia,Chlorogenic Acid and Luteolin contents are the main quality indexes in honeysuckle extraction.Based on the principle of balanced fertilization,we studied Effects of four different fertilization methods such as non-fertilization group,only inorganic fertilization used group,only organic fertilization used group,and both inorganic and organic fertilization used group on the yield of Lonicera japonica Thunb and Chlorogenic Acid,Luteolin contents in products.The result showed that fertilization could raise the quality of Lonicera japonica Thunb,only organic fertilization used group was better than inorganic fertilization used group,but the difference was not obvious,both inorganic and organic fertilization used group was very close to organic fertilization used group.This could be used as basis for large-scale commercialization planting of Lonicera Japonica Thunb.

    New variety of Lonicera macranthoides cv. huayaowanshu is selected from Lonicera macranthoides. The botanical characteristics,economic characters,phenological phase and stress resistance of the new variety are researched. The results show that,with long florescence and its blooming stage is about 10 days later than other varieties,it is beneficial to pick. Lonicera macranthoides cv. huayaowanshu has indehiscent corollas,orderly flower buds and high yield. Its dried flower output is 378 kg /666. 7 m2in the 5th year after planting,3. 5 times the output of common variety. It has high chlorogenic acid content of 8. 86%,1. 92 times the content of common variety. Under the drought,low temperature and water stress,the abilities of drought resistance and cold resistance was Lonicera macranthoides cv. huayaowanshu Lonicera macranthoides cv. jincuilei Lonicera macranthoides,the abilities of waterlogging resistance was Lonicera macranthoides cv. jincuilei Lonicera macranthoides cv. huayaowanshu Lonicera macranthoides.

    Objective To study on the best harvest standard of Lonicera macranthoides Hand.-Mazz..Methods It was used three marks of configuration,harvest period and bloomed ratio,to collect samples and determined the content of chlorogenic acid by RP-HPLC.Results Samples collected by the medicinal materials' configuration standard contained content of chlorogenic acid was the highest,and among configurations had differ greatly.Conclusion Medicinal materials' configuration is the best collection standard.

    By using randomized block design,a field experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of N:P ratio and fertilizer quantity on Lonicera japonica Thunb.The result indicates that the quality of Lonicera japonica Thunb can be greatly raised under the ciucumstance of the ratio of urea and calcium superphosphate is 1:3,and fertilizer quantity is 42 g/cluster.

    The introduction of a superior type of Lonicera japonicas Thunb from Shandong province was to eastern area of the Helan Mountain in Ningxia.The result showed that Lonicera japonicas Thunb had fairly good adaptability to environment.It growed strongly with well-developed roots and strong resistance to dry and cold climate as well as to barren land.It is blooms in the year it was planted,Its dry flower 5.16% of chlorogentic acid,which was in accordance with the quality standard by Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2005) Edition I.The 5-years-old Lonicera japonicas Thunb can yield up to 116kg/ 667m2 of dry flower.

    It has been found,from observatan of the growth characteristics japonica and Lonicera maackii,that the blooming period of L.japonica is May 1st to the end of September and that of L.maackii from April 14th to May 14th.The blooming period of Lonicera maackii is just a complement to the vacant period of Lonicera japonica if making medicines according to the blooming period.An experiment shows that flavonoid is contained in sprout,bud,mature bud,white flower,yellow flower and leaves of both Lonicera japonica and Lonicera maackii.The most content of flavonidd in their leaves——the content in leave of Lonicera japonica is 2.108 5 g in 100 g fresh leaves;that in Lonicera maackii is 2.998 1 g in 100 g fresh leaves.

    Objective Analyze and compare the quality of Lonicera japonica 'Yatehong LSB' introducted in Wudangshan and representative growing district of S. China was selected for resource investigation. Methods The information of samples and the environment were collected. Chlorogenic acid form different growing districts were identifi ed by TLC. The content of chlorogenic acid and luteoloside were determined by RP-HPLC. Results There were certain difference in the strength of spot of chlorogenic acid in the S. China from different districts,and the difference of the content of chlorogenic acid and luteoloside were obvious. Conclusion The quality of Lonicera japonica 'Yatehong LSB' introduction in Wudangshan is better, and suitable planted in large area of Wudangshan.

    The relation of growing and flowering rhythm of Lonicera japonica to the quality of Flos Lonicerae was studied. The result showed that the yield and quality of Flos Lonicerae were different in different plant age and collecting time,the best collecting time was in the completely white flower bud stage, the first and the second batch flower buds had the highest yield and the best quality.
