Study on method to prevent slipping between strip and tension roll in aluminum strip hot rolling mill

Abstract:

In order to solve the slipping problem between the aluminum strip and the tension roll,according to the operation characteristics of the aluminum strip hot rolling mill,the working status and the force situation of the tension roll are analyzed and the friction torque between the strip and the tension roll is calculated. The best time point to disconnect the tension roll motor's cluth is found by comparing the friction torque with the unloaded torque of the tension roll and checking the setting tension between rolls,thus the slipping is prevented effectively. This method is used in a practical project and receives good effect.
