    Abstract:
    Based on the specialized characteristic of civil engineering,this paper discusses the content and the practical plan of the students' knowledge structure and ability structure of civil engineering specialty.Some problems existing in civil engineering specialized education has pointed out.The suggestions training the students' practice ability and creative ability are put forward,through reforming the curriculum systems,the classroom teaching and the practice teaching.

    Several issues occur in present Civil Engineering Drawing course,such as teaching content is lagging behind the development of the engineering;course teachers lack the practical ability;school's hardware lag behind the teaching requirements.These result in the lack of practical ability of students.According to our researches,Civil Engineering Drawing course content should be divided into six modules,which are descriptive geometry,engineering graphics basics,knowledge of civil engineering design,professional graphics,computer graphics and curriculum.

    Civil engineering materials course is an important special basic course of civil engineering specialty.By studying the course,students not only need to grasp the basic knowledge of civil engineering materials,but also to have practical and innovation abilities.The teaching pattern,which embedded practice into the classroom teaching and combined basic experiments with innovation experiments,can help students to change the way of their thinking from passive acceptance to initiative exploration,and achieve the organic unity of knowledge,ability,and quality.

    Civil engineering construction is one of the important courses of civil engineering specialty.It is practical.So how to teach it and achieve a good teaching effect is a considerable question.Combined with the situation of teaching reform on civil engineering construction in Taiyuan University of Technology,we proposed suggestions of reforming on teaching model and teaching methods.To enrich the teaching content and improve the teaching quality,we used some methods such as on-site visits,seminars,and multimedia in the teaching process,which provided a reference for the teaching reform.
