Abstract:
This paper takes a landslide in south Qinghai Province as an example,on the basis of the analysis of regional geology and landslide characteristics,analyzed the mechanism of landslide and factors influencing landslide,determined the sliding mode,selected rational parameters for landslide stability calculation,carried out analysis of landslide stability according to the calculation result,summarized the mechanism and reasons of landslide in the area,providing reference experiences for similar geological disaster management.Through the analysis and calculation it concludes: the cause for occurrence of landslide hazards is poor lithology,frozen soil depth in the area where landslide is located is larger,regional temperature difference between summer and winter is large,surface water is frozen in winter and melt in next summer,inducing muddy clay and shale as well as lower cohesion,sliding body creeps continuously and slides down.By using transfer coefficient method,the stability of landslide in different conditions is calculated.The results show that under the natural conditions,shallow sliding surface of landslide is in creep deformation condition,deep sliding surface is basically stable,in consideration of rainstorm and seismic conditions,the landslide is in unstable state.Keywords:

The No.4 landslide of Cihaxia hydropower station at left bank of lower dam site leads to heavy confinement to the choice of dam site and project layout. By describing the geological condition and engineering geology characteristics of landslide body, formation mechanism of landslide is analysed, the stability under various condition are estimated based on the analysis of parameters of the slip band and the factor sensitivity analysis of the landslide is completed. The results indicates that the landslide is in stability condition only under natural endowment, but under other conditions, the landslide will be in limiting equilibrium or destabilization. The major factor affecting the stability of landslide is the friction, and the second factor is the cohesion force.

Based on the research of the representative features,analyzing relevant causes of landslides at Zixi County,the author has calculated some parameters about the landslide stability in natural and saturated states by classic transmitting coefficient methods,respectively.The calculated result turns out that natural landslide is basically stable,while saturated landslide is unstable.According to geotechnical engineering investigation and practical landform analysis,an engineering treatment plan on landslide is designed with the measures of anti-sliding and stabilizing as well as surface drainage,and some effectiveness results are got in the construction.This landslide causes and treatment outlines could provide some good experiences for other rainfall-triggered shallow landslide prevention and treatment in this area.

Linchuan landslide is a talus slide caused typically by unreasonable quarrying and influenced by human engineering activities.The formation mechanism,controlling factors and geological structure of the landslide are concluded in this paper based on field investigation and laboratory study.The stability of the landslide in the situation of natural and rainy season are calculated using imbalance thrust force method.The results show that the A-A′section area is stable,the C-C′and D-D′section areas are basically stable in the natural state.The three sections of landslide are unstable in rainy season.The landslide is not whole slip but the lower part of the slope sliding and upper slope keeping locally stability during landslide buckling.The prevention and cure countermeasure about landslide are putted forward on the basis of the deformation characteristics of landslide.

According to the results of on-site engineering geological investigation, the geological and environmental conditions, the characteristics of spatial distribution and deformation failure are analyzed for the landslide in Dongshanling, with the forming reason of landslide discussed. Using the method of residual thrust transfer, the stability of the landslide is computed and evaluated under the natural conditions and the rainstorm conditions. It is found that loose,thick residual soil and high-steep clinoform landscape are the internal causes of forming landslide. Meanwhile, artificial cut-slope and heavy rainfall are the triggering factors of causing landslide. At last, the treatment schemes of cut slope -unloading and constructing dam-filling soil were put forward for Dongshanling landslide according to the stability and developing tendency of it.

the paper introduces the basic characteristics of the landslide, analyzes the formation mechanism of the landslide, I think that the thick and loose efflorescent colluvial deposit on landslide offer material source of the landslide; Steep hill provides effective free surface for the landslide ; Heavy rainfall and human engineering activities are the main factors for the stability of the landslide. According to rock physical mechanics test and stability calculation results under different working conditions, afford a stability evaluation for the landslide. The results show that the landslide may lose stability when cutting slope in the leading edge, loading in trailing edge and suffering heavy rainfall, we should take the necessary measures to prevent and control.

The reactive mechanism of large landslide is complicated and is a key point of landslide research.The Baozha landslide is a typical large landslide in Enshi.Its stability is urgent to be evaluated in order to keep safety for people.Thid paper is based on the engineering geological condition investigation and analyses the formation mechanism.A 2D model is developed.With the FLAC software and based on the borehole displacement data,this paper inverses the rational calculation parameter of the soils and rocks forming the landslide.Considering landslide natural state and river trenching,three-simulations are done.The results show the following three points:(1)Baozha landslide is a pulling landslide.It is developed in easy-sliding strata-sandstone and muddy stone of Silurian System.Laogou river erosion and rainfall are the main induction factor.The slope front edge failed at the beginning.Then the deformation developed to middle and back of the slope.At last,the landslide happened.(2) at present,the main factors that influence the deformation and stability of the landslide are the Laogouhe river cutting and rainfall.(3)the Baozha landslide is stable now.With the river cutting deeper,this landslide is possible to have a progressive failure.The suggestion is that the front toe of the landslide should be improved as soon as possible.

Based on the basic characteristics of the landslide,its formation mechanism and the stability were studied and analyzed.The research showed that the topography and the material composition were geological conditions of the landslide,and the recent abundant rainfall was a primary induction factor of the traction-type landslide.Furthermore,the landslide was critically stable under the natural conditions.But if there were unstable conditions,the landslide would happen again.It was emergent to take measures of prevention to strengthen the drainages,and build retaining wall on foreland of the landslide so as to enhance monitoring.

A large landslide in Yalong River which was in the middle of two dam sites.As the landslide covered a huge of 3 662 × 104m3,and currently cracks with length of over 200 meters,which had an important impact to the proposed hydropower.Based on the investigated basic characteristic of landslide,we analyzed the formation mechanism of the ancient landslide and the deformation mechanism of the present combined with the conditions of landslide,and explored the range of deformation.Finally,we divided the landslide into three sub-areas,according to topography characteristics,material composition,structural characteristics and deformation characteristics of the landslides,and made the partition evaluation.Qualitative analysis and quantitative calculations showed that:the c area in the front of landslide was stable in natural condition,and which is the ultimate state in rain conditions,it was necessary to take engineering measures,the results could provide important reference for the proposed project.

The landslide which located in the northwest of the transformer substation was studied and the evaluation of the stability was contained.Through analyzing the regional geological conditions and landslide engineering conditions, summary of the reason of the landslide was made. Based on two-dimensional rigid body limit equilibrium theory, residual thrust method was used in calculation. Through the researching of the landslide, some factors that play important role were found. According to the investigation report, select the main slip profile as the basis for calculating. Combining with soil C&φ, the value of the inversion parameters can be got. Calculation process contained two engineering conditions. In the natural condition, the landslide is stable, and in the rainstorm condition, the landslide is not stable.
