Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: To study the general regularity and clinical characteristics of adverse drug reaction (ADR) caused by azithromycin, and to provide reference for rational use of drugs in the clinic. METHODS: A case reported a child of 10 years old suffered from cholecystolithiasis due to azithromycin therapy. Retrieved from Wanfang database, publicly issued literatures about azithromycin-induced ADR reported in domestic pharmaceutical journals from 2001 to 2010 were collected and analyzed. RESULTS: Azithromycin-inducing ADR mainly was anaphylactic shock, followed by the damage of dermal system and digestive system. Azithromycin-inducing ADR often occurred in children under 10 years of age. CONCLUSION: We should pay more attention to azithromycin-inducing ADR, select the appropriate route of administration and ensure the safety of drug use.Keywords:

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the occurrence and regularity of adverse drug reaction(ADR) in our hospital.METHODS:There were 349 ADR cases collected from our hospital in 2009,which were retrospectively analyzed in respect of general information of patients,drug information,organs and systems involved in ADR and clinical manifestations,types of ADR reports and source of serious cases.RESULTS:In 349 cases of ADR,40 cases(11.46%) had the history of drug allergy.There were 10 kinds of antibacterials in the top 15 drugs which caused the most ADR cases,accounting for 66.67%.Related dosage form was mainly injection(385 cases,86.91%).Lesions of skin and its appendants were the main clinical manifestations(167 cases,47.85%).CONCLUSION:More attention should be paid to the patients' history of drug allergy.The analysis and evaluation of drug use in ADR cases,discovery of early warning and the training work of primary physician should be intensified to improve the level of rational drug use and ensure safety of drug use.

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the general regularity and characteristics of adverse drug reaction(ADR) in our hospital and to supply references for rational drug use and correct evaluation of ADR.METHODS:189 ADR reports in our hospital in 2012 were analyzed retrospectively.RESULTS:Among 189 ADR cases,the number of male(108 cases) was more than female(81 cases).The incidence of ADR was significantly higher in the elderly aged ≥50 and juveniles aged ≤18.61.90% of ADR were induced by intravenous drip.The main clinical manifestation of organs or systems involved in ADR were lesion of skin and its appendants,which involved 78 cases(41.27%).CONCLUSIONS:ADR monitoring should be strengthened,so as to standardize clinical rational drug use and ensure the safety of drug use.

Objective To investigate the characteristics and regularity of adverse drug reaction(ADR)in our hospital for promoting rational drug use.Methods By retrospective study,912 ADR reports in our hospital during 2012-2013 were analyzed statistically.Results Among 912 ADR cases,32.02% ADR reports were caused by antibiotics drugs,patients aged over 60occupied31.91%,and intravenous route was the major cause of ADR(74.12%).The lesion of skin and its appendants were the most common clinical manifestation of ADR(36.18%),such as erythra and pruritus.And most of them were improved(55.92%)or cured(42.76%).Conclusion Medical personnel should attach importance to supervise and report ADR,observe clinical manifestations and reaction,reduce the ADR,and promote rational drug use in the clinical work.

Objective To understand the regularity and characteristics of adverse drug reaction(ADR) of our hospital,in order to provide reference for clinical medication.Methods 144 cases of ADR reports in our hospital in 2012 were selected and analyzed retrospectively in respect of patients'age,sex,drug administration route drug categories,organ and systems involed,clinical manifestations,and so on.Results In the 144 cases of ADR reports,43.1% of ADR was induced by anti-infective drugs.Followed by the cardiovascular system drugs,which accounted for 20.8%.Drug delivery dosage form for injection was the most common(84.0%).The main symptoms of ADR were skin rash and pruritus,which accounted for47.9%.Conclusion We should pay attention to ADR reports,strengthen the supervision and management of its use,reduce adverse events occurred,to ensure patient's medication safety.

OBJECTIVE:To realize the regularity and related factors of adverse drug reaction (ADR) in our hospital.METHODS:A total of 324 ADR reports collected from our hospital during 2011-2012 were analyzed statistically.RESULTS:Of 324 ADR reports,the patients of age group in greater than 70 years took up the highest proportion.The drugs that induced ADR totaled 120 kinds.39.51% of ADR cases were induced by circulatory system drugs.Most of ADR were caused by injection and intravenous route.Main clinical manifestations of organs or system involved in ADR were lesion of gastrointestinal system,accounting for 28.85%.CONCLUSIONS:More attention should be paid to ADR monitoring by medical institutions to reduce the incidence of ADR and improve rational drug use.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the features of adverse drug reactions(ADR)occurred in our hospital. METHODS: By restrospective and descriptive study,a total of 275 ADR case reports collected from our hospital were analyzed statistically. RESULTS:Among 275 ADR reports,79.64% of ADR were induced by intravenous dripping. 67 ADR cases were mainly induced by antimicrobial drugs(24.36%)and 59 cases by nutrition drugs(21.45%),followed by cardiovascular and traditional Chinese drugs; main clinical manifestations of ADR were systemic damage(27.15%),followed by damage of digestive system and lesions of skin and its appendents. There were 11 severe ADR reports(4.00%). CONCLUSIONS:More attention should be paid to ADR,and monitoring and reporting of ADR should be strengthened in order to improve rational drug use in the clinic.

OBJECTIVE:To discuss the characteristics and regularities of adverse drug reactions (ADR) in our hospital. METHODS:ADR reports of 618 cases collected via ADR network system and submitted to state ADR database from 2005 to 2006 were analyzed statistically in respect of patients' age and sex,rating of correlated factors and outcome,clinical manifestations,routes of administration,and the involved drugs etc. RESULTS:Anti-infective drugs dominated the first place on the list of ADR incidence rate,followed by antineoplastic agent and Chinese patent medicines. The main symptoms of ADR were drug eruption,allergic,athma,followed by gastrointestinal reaction. There were fewer incidences of serious ADR such as bone marrow depression,hypoleukemia and shock. CONCLUSION:The ADR monitoring in Fuzhou General Hospital is lack and should be strengthened,and knowledge of ADR must be publicized for guiding the rational,safe and effective drug use in clinic.

Objective To investigate the situation of adverse drug reaction ( ADR) occurred in our hospital,so as to promote the clinical rational drug use. Methods Made a retrospective study on a total of 439 ADR case reports collected from our hospital from 2006 to 2009. Made statistical analysis from respects of patients' age,sex,drug categories,routes of administration,and so on. Results In 439 ADR cases,the ratio of male was similar to female,201 cases( 45. 78% ) were over 60 years old,312 cases were intravenous injection drugs,76 cases ( 17. 31% ) were oral drugs,and ADR of antineoplastic drug was at the first place. There were 179 cases( 40. 77% ) whose clinical manifestation of ADR was mainly on skin and its attachment. Conclusion We should strengthen ADR monitoring in our hospital,make rational and regular use of antineoplastic drug,so as to avoid or reduce the occurrence of ADR.

Objective To analyze the characteristics and regularity of adverse drug reaction( ADR) occurred in the second affiliated hospital of Nanjing Medical University in 2012,and offer some information about rational drug use. Methods 148 effective ADR case reports collected in our hospital were analyzed statistically according to patients' age and sex,route of administration,category of drug,organs and systems involved,and the clinical manifestation of the ADR. Results Most of the 148 ADR cases were of the children under 10 and the old people over 60 years,81. 08% induced by intravenous dripping injection, and 63. 51% were induced by anti-infective drugs. The clinical manifestations of ADR were mainly lesions of skin and its appendages involving 60. 14%. Conclusion It is important to strengthen ADR monitoring and ensure safe medication.

Objective:Over the past three years 608 patients with drug-induced adverse drug reaction (ADR)in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed to provide warning for the clinical reasonable medication. Methods:ADR reports of 608 patients were analyzed and summarized.Results:The majority of patients(40.63%) were over 55-years-old,and the ADR was mainly caused by intravenous administration(68.59%).The first cause of ADR was uses of anti-infective drugs(49.18%),and the second was uses of the traditional Chinese medicine (30.43%).The main clinical manifestation of ADR was the skin damage(38.98%).Conclusion:The occur- rence of ADR is affected by many factors,and the clinical manifestations are diversified.Therefore,we need to strengthen the monitoring of ADR,and should rationally and carefully use the anti-infective drugs and the injection of traditional Chinese medicine.We should pay attention to drug combination and contraindications in order to re- duce or avoid ADR,and to use reasonably safe and effective medications.
