    Abstract:
45 Duroc-Landrace-Yorkshire crossbred weaning piglets with average weight of about 10 kg were divided into three groups. Two Chinese herbal feed additives(Ⅰ and Ⅱ),antibacterials and growth-promoter were supplemented respectively to feed in 3 groups(Chinese herbal medicine Ⅰ,Chinese herbal medicine Ⅱ and control group).Growth performance among the three groups was compared. Compared with the control group, average daily gains in the group of Chinese herbal medicine Ⅰ were increased by 6.54%,5.01%,4.49% and 4.74% respectively in the four stages, while the feed conversions were decreased by(1.55%),8.25%,5.65% and-0.03% respectively.Average daily gains in the group of Chinese herbal medicine Ⅱ were increased by 1.44%, 2.24%,4.12% and 4.55% respectively, while the feed conversions decreased by-2.50%,6.01%,6.21% and 1.08%.And the two were able to prevent 10-40 kg weigh piglets from diarrhea effectively. The results indicated that Chinese herbal feed additives Ⅰ and Ⅱ can obviously improve the piglets' growth performance. The efficacy is superior to antibacterials and growth-promoter.
