    Abstract:
    This paper introduce the professor WU Lian-zhong's clinical experience in acupuncture treatment for facial paralysis. Professor WU emphasizes the treatment based on syndrome differentiation. The appropriate theory, method, prescription and acupoints should be applied according to observing the subtle details of syndromes and differentiating the state of diseases development, so as to obtain effectiveness, to shorten the duration of treatment course and to reduce sequelae. The concrete methods of prognosis diagnosis for facial paralysis and three effective cases are introduced.

    Professor OUYANG Qun studied acupuncture and moxibustion from HE Hui-wu before,which is an expert of acupuncture and moxibustion,and did well in clinical treatment and acupuncture manipulation research.He has been working in clinic for over 40 years and accumulated a lot of experience in treating Stroke,Fever,Hidrosis syndrome and other physicians complicated diseases by acupuncture and moxibustion.Professor OUYANG Qun considers that Hidrosis syndrome is mainly caused by the unbalance of Yin and Yang of one's body and easy to be cured through acupuncture while the physicians catch the right differentiation and the corresponding acupoints.In the meanwhile,he praises highly that acupuncture is a good therapy in treating Hidrosis syndrome.Now,we select three of Professor OUYANG Qun's cases in treating Hidrosis syndrome for readers to learn.

    This paper introduces professor TIAN Conghuo's clinical experience in treating women and children's diseases by using acupuncture and drug together with moxibustion,cupping,pricking blood,guasha and sticking therapy.Three cases including recurrent febrile of children,postpartum mood disorders and chronic ulceroftonsil were listed in this paper to explain professor Tian's experience.

    Professor ZHANG Ren's clinical experience of acupuncture for glaucoma is summarized. Professor ZHANG believes that key pathogenesis of glaucoma is stagnation of qi and blood in the eyes, obstruction of xuanfu in the eyes, and obstruction of meridians. The treatment should focus on the eye, with smoothing the liver and keeping functional state of six-fu as priority; he also emphasizes the acupoint selection based on the combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation, and pays attention to the application of acupuncture method of promoting qi circulation and inducting qi movement. Professor ZHANG proposes that the patients should be treated according to different types, and stresses the importance of using comprehensive treatment and emotional adjustment method, as well as early intervention, long-term adherence and regular treatment.

    Professor ZHANG Qing-ping's clinical experience and characteristics of acupuncture for peripheral facial paralysis were introduced from three aspects: differentiation of meridians and tendons, treatment by stages, and examples of proven cases. In the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis, Professor ZHANG carefully examines the situation of pathogenic factors and health. In the acute stage, the treatment focuses on eliminating pathogenic factors and supporting the health; in the recovery stage, penetrating needling is recommended with strengthening the health and eliminating pathogenic factors as main purpose; in the sequelae stage, wheat-grain moxibustion is recommended with strengthening the health as main purpose. This treatment plan shows superior clinical efficacy.

    Professor WU Xu's clinical experience of acupuncture for alternating hemiplegia of childhood is summarized. Based on the syndrome differentiation of meridians and the theory of zangfu, professor WU proposes that the etiology and pathogenesis is yin as the root causes, deficiency wind as the symptoms, and the treatment is to tonify deficiency and reinforce the vital essence, soothe the liver and relieve wind. The acupoints used is mainly in the foot three yin meridians, paying attention to tonifying the kidney; the combinations of Hegu (LI 4) and Taichong (LR 3), Fengmen (BL 12) and Fengshi (GB 31) are adopted; combined with the back-shu points and the governor vessel acupoints, professor WU emphasizes harmonizing yin and yang and treating and nourishing the spirit.
