Abstract:
[Objective]The aim was to determine the best transplanting time of flue-cured tobacco in Lancang County. [Method]Three transplanting time,April 20,30 and May 10,was designed,and then investigated their growth,development and yield. [Result]Transplanting in April 20 had the longest growth period,was in favor of tobacco root growth,promoted the growth of overground parts of tobacco plants,had the better agronomic traits,promoted the synthesis of tobacco internal compounds,and then yield improved. Otherwise,transplanting in April 20 had stronger tobacco plants because of longer growth period,so the disease was relative lighter; the mature time of transplanting in April 20 was earlier because tobacco plants was transplanted earlier,so they avoided parts of rain weather at later growth period to decrease the later stage diseases; the mosaic of transplanting in April 20 was less at the earlier stage,so brown spot was decreased effectively at the later stage. [Conclusion]In the suitable time,early transplanting improves yield and internal quality of tobacco leaves. The suitable transplanting time of flue-cured tobacco was April 20 in Lancang County.Keywords:

By using randomized block design,various transplanting tests were carried out to study effects of transplanting periods on agronomic traits,economic characters,appearance quality,chemical composition and enzyme activity of maturity tobacco in high-altitude area in 2011 in Weining County of Guizhou Provice.The results indicated that with the transplanting date brought forward,the tobacco plants grew earlier,the duration from transplanting to budding and the field growth period were prolonged;The agronomic traits varied in different growth periods,in general,with the transplanting date delayed,the plant height,leaf number and stem girth decreased,the maximum leaf length and width first increased and then decreased;the yield and high-middle class rate decreased,output value,average price and high class rate of tobacco with local transplanting time reached the highest while others decreased;middle and upper leaves got thin,chroma of upper leaves got weakened,nicotine content in upper leaves was enhanced,POD and CAT activity of middle and upper leaves in maturity stage increased,SOD activity of middle leaves first increased and then decreased,and SOD activity of upper leaves increased.

[Objective] The aim was to effectively solve the effects of low temperature and cold wave at the early stage of flue- cured tobacco growth,then promote tobacco growth and improve its yield in the high and cold tobacco region,finally ensure tobacco farmer's economic benefits. [Method]The transplanting time was April 5,10,15,resp.,and the the broken hole count after filming was 1,2,3,resp.. [Result]The results showed that the agronomic traits of tobacco at different growth and development periods had bigger difference because of different transplanting time and broken film size during seedlings cultivation under film,finally influenced tobacco leaves yield and quality. In the high and cold tobacco region of Luzhou,that April 5- 10 transplanting time and 3 holes should be chose during tobacco cultivation under film,because all agronomic traits were the best under this planting conditions. [Conclusion] The study provides a reference for improving tobacco leaves production level of Luzhou City.

In order to define the suitable transplanting time of flue-cured tobacco variety Honghuadajinyuan in western areas of Fujian, field trials were carried out to study the effects of transplanting time on growth, yield and quality of tobacco. The results showed that when transplanted on 12 th January, tobacco plants had a field growth period of 149 days, which could meet the need of field growth with fresh weight and dry weight of above ground parts being the highest. Single leaf weight, yield, output value, average price and the percentage of upper and middle grade leaves were significantly better than that of the other treatments. The main chemical composition of tobacco leaves was also more harmonious. Sensory tests suggested that relatively early transplanting was good for improving smoking quality with better manifestation of the delicious aroma style, sweeter taste, more and better quality aroma.

Tobacco growth is affected by many factors. To explore the effect of transplanting stage on yield and quality of tobacco leaf and to look for the best planting time for tobacco in the tobacco areas in Fuzhou,the leaf size,yield and quality,and chemical quality of the tobacco leaves trans planted in different periods were tested. The results showed that with the transplanting period delayed,blades widened gradually,especially the lower leaves; the tobacco leaf production increased gradually,the proportion of superior tobacco went down after rising firstly; the average price and output per unit area in T3 were the highest; the total sugar content,potassium content of tobacco leaves varied increased gradually with the transplanting period delayed,the total nitrogen and nicotine contents decreased gradually; the ratio of sugar to alkali,and the ratio of nitrogen to alkali in T3 was the most harmonious. 10 days in advance( T1) of delayed( T5) against the transplanting stage in T3( March 9) had an adverse effect on production of high quality tobacco leaves. March 14( T3) was the more appropriate in Fuzhou.

The effect of different transplanting time on development,output and aroma quality of Izimir was studied at Luoming from(October) to December of 2001.The results showed that the oriental tobacco transplanted in the last ten days of October or the first ten days of November grew longer relatively after transplanting,accumulated more dry matter,produced relatively higher output.Also the tobacco leaf was little and thick under such climatic conditions,its quality of(aroma) was better,the quantity of aroma was abundant,and the economic benefits were better.The aroma quality and output were(reduced) sequentially with postponement of transplanting time.

For effectively decreasing the damage caused by viral diseases,improving the yield and quality of tobacco leaf,transplanting young seedlings under film was compared with conventional film mulching cultivation by field trials.The results showed that transplanting young seedlings under film effectively evaded the aphid's migrating peak and decreased the probability of virus infection;comparing with control treatment,morbidity and incidence index decreased by 32 and 18.35 percentage points,respectively;and the control efficacy reached 76.84% in the years when viral disease was serious;while morbidity and incidence index decreased by 13.11 and 5.06 percentage points,respectively;and the control efficacy was up to 89.22% in normal years.Meanwhile,transplanting young seedlings under film could improve microenvironment in the field,make full use of natural resources,such as light,temperature,water,and promote the seedlings to grow vigorously.As a result,tobacco yield,the proportion of higher grade tobacco leaf,average price and output value increased by 22.3%,12.17 percentage points,10.7% and 35.3%,respectively;moreover,the tobacco presented better appearance quality and more harmonious chemical composition.

[Objective]The aim was to explore the influence of transplanting at different seedling ages on growth yield and quality of local fluecured tobacco. [Method] One test point had been set up in Luoping and a series indexes of tobacco seedlings transplanted 80,70,60,50 days after sowing were measured,such as growth period,agronomic field morbidity,economic traits and chemical quality. [Result]The results showed that as seedling age getting shorter,the whole growth period got shorter; survival rate declined; the plant height,stem girth,leaf area except the effective leave numbers were all significantly reduced; the incidence of mosaic disease susceptibility significantly increased; economic traits increased first and then decreased; total nitrogen and nicotine decreased; chlorine content,potassium content,sugar content,the chemical composition harmonious were all increased first and then decreased. [Conclusion]Therefore,the most suitable tobacco seedling age is 60- 70 days in Luoping,and it is recommended to select a reasonable time according to the local nursery transplanting seasons,in order to meet the needs of the region's tobacco seedling transplanting.

To study the effects of transplanting time on yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco,we designed transplanting test in Xuanen,Lichuan and Badong.The results showed that: in Xuanen,Shifting the transplanting date to earlier date properly could improve the yield and quality,e,g.in the end of April or beginning of May;in Lichuan there was significant difference among the chemical components of the four treatments.The treatment three and four were better than the other treatments,transplanted tobacco in middle to late May was appropriate;In Badong,the chemical components of tobacco which transplanted on May 9th were more harmonious than on earlier or later dates.Therefore,we suggest the best transplanting date should be on early or middle May.

Effects of transplanting date on disease degree,agronomic properties,economic characters and usability of upper leaves of flue-cured tobacco were studied with K326 as material in Qiangongping,Fenghuang County,Hunan Province.The results indicated that appropriate postponement of transplanting date for flue-cured tobacco could apparently decrease the degree of tobacco brown spot and virus disease of upper leaves and disease plaques on leaves.At the same time the plant height,number of effective remained leaves,length and width of upper leaves and yield unit area could be obviously increased.Postponing transplanting date from April 22 to May 11,the yield,output value,mean price and percentage of high quality leaves were increased by 489 kg/hm2,9 702 yuan/hm2,1.4 yuan/kg and 16.7%,respectively.It was concluded that in Fenghuang County or other tobacco production regions with similar meteorological conditions,appropriate postponement of transplanting date could apparently decrease the percentage of upper leaves,improve length and width of upper leaves,increase the usability of upper leaves,and significantly increase output value and percentage of high quality leaves.

The effects of transplanting time on plant growth,yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco new variety Jinhai No. 1 were studied by transplanting on different date. The results showed that in the aspects of yield,production value,average price and first-and-medium-class leaves rate,the best performance appeared in the T2and T3transplanting treatments,whose transplanting date were in the middle of the total four transplanting treatments. The yield,production value,average price and first-and-medium-class leaves rate of the T1and T4transplanting treatments,whose transplanting date were the first and the last in the total four transplanting treatments,respectively,all had poor performance. The contents of nicotine,nitrogen and reducing sugar and the ratios between sugar and nicotine,nitrogen and nicotine,potassium and chlorine of T1and T2transplanting treatments were all moderate,and the chemical coordination evaluation values of T1and T2were all more than 90 points. The contents of reducing sugar of T3transplanting treatment was on the high side,and the chemical coordination evaluation value of T3was more than 90 points. The nicotine content of T4was on the low side,and its reducing sugar content was on the high side,and its chemical coordination evaluation value was only 77. 71 points. So in order to both increase production and improve the quality of tobacco leaf,Jinhai No. 1 should be transplanted at the right time,not too early and not too late.
