Abstract:
Compared with the on-exchange method, desalting technology of reverse osmosis method has many advantages. Reverse osmosis devices will bring about economic benefit in some areas. This paper disscusses the advantages of using reverse osmosis technique in feeding water treatment of power plant boilers as well as the preventing inethod for the pollution of the reverse osmosis films.Keywords:

This article deal with the Application of reverse osmosis in water treatment of power plant. In this essay, the application of reverse osmosis is proved to be prospecting by analyzing the features of the reverse osmosis principle and its processing technique. Priovide the illustration for the effect of water treatment and the reduction of the cost. Explain the importance of reverse osmosis technique in water treatment of power plant.

Reverse osmosis technique was used for the treatment of industrial waste water. Ions like calcium, magnesium, sodium, sulfate, and nitrate were found in the waste water of the General Company of Vegetable Oil with high concentrations which must be treated for reuse. Feed water containing the above mentioned ions was fed to the RO unit at feed flow rates (0.4 and 0.8 lit/min) and different operating pressure (2-4bar) .It is concluded that increasing operating pressure and feed flow rate improved the separation by a decrease in the concentration of ions in the product. High rejection was obtained for all ions present in feed water, ranging from (63.8-97.6%). Rejection of TDS was 87% when the concentration of TDS was reduced from 1192 to 154.94 ppm.

Reverse osmosis technology was a new liquid separation technology with advantages of high efficiency,easy operation and environment friendly.In this paper,theory and development?of reverse osmosis technology was introduced.Content focused on the research and development of reverse osmosis technology in the desalination treatment of seawater and brackish water,preparation of pure water,industrial sewage treatment.In addition,the problems and solution methods in the reverse osmosis technology were discussed.In the end,prospect and progress was proposed.

At present,the water resources become less and less.In order to save water and achieve the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction,more and more coal mines in the construction consider putting the treated mine water into drinking water,therefore the reverse osmosis technology becomes the preferred technology in currently used technologies for mine water treatment.This paper briefly introduces the basic concept of the reverse osmosis technology,analyzes the feasibility of applying the reverse osmosis technology into the treatment of mine water,probes into the expected effect and development prospect of the reverse osmosis treatment,and puts forward some matters needing attention in applying the reverse osmosis technology.

In the light of the faults occurring in the operation of the reverse osmosis water treatment system,this paper points out that some effective modification measures must be adopted properly in the design of the front equipment of the reverse osmosis water treatment system,the adjustment of the operation,the supplement and perfection of the operation methods and procedures of the reverse osmosis water treatment system,and the analysis of the operation historical data,etc.for the purpose of guaranteeing the safe and economic operation of the reverse osmosis water treatment system.

Contaminated water can be treated and be re-used but where portable water supply is not available, implementation of reverse osmosis technology is capable of increasing the volume of water supply. This paper reviewed the technology behind reverse osmosis, their proportional utilization, methods classification, expected technical problems and solutions that are connected with its operation. Desalination is admitted as one of the major application areas of reverse osmosis program. The review acknowledges fouling, scale formation and corrosion as the major challenges that can hinder the operation of reverse osmosis plants and recommended precautional methods during design, testing and implementation of reverse osmosis plants.
