Abstract:
[Objective] To observate the clinical curative effect and safety of chronic cough on Jiang Xin Huatan Zhike decoction.[Methods] 102 chronic cough outpatients were radomly divided into test and control groups.51 in the test group were treated with the Jiang Xin Huatan Zhike decoction;and the 51 patients' reatment in the control group who were taken with compound methoxyphenamine capsules after meals,2 pills each time,thrice daily.Considered ten days as a course of treatment,to observate the clinical curative effect and safety.[Result] The total effective rate in the treatment group and the control group was 92.2% and 52.9% respectively(P0.01),no obvious sideeffects are found.[Conclusions] It is much better clinical efficacy and safely with Jiang Xin Huatan Zhike decoction as chronic cough.Keywords:

[Objective]To observe the Houpu Mahuang Decoction Combined with western medicine treatment of chronic bronchitis.[Methods]Using randomized controlled methods,60 patients(patients)were divided into two groups according to visiting sequence method. 30 cases of the control group of Western medicine,asthma,bronchiectasis,antispasmodic,anti-inflammatory,antitussive during treatment. Objective To observe the efficacy of Chanyi Jiegeng Erchen Decoction on post-infectious cough(PIC). Methods 50 patients with post-infectious cough were randomly assigned to two groups, 25 patients in the treatment group were treated with Chanyi Jiegeng Erchen Decoction, and 25 patients in the control group were treated with Prednisone, for a course of 12 days. Results The total effective rate was 96.0% in the treatment group, higher than 64.0% in the control group, and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P0.05). Conclusion Chanyi Jiegeng Erchen Decoction is a quite effective treatment for PIC.

Objective To observe the effect of Chanhu Zhike Oral Liquid to treat cough after a cold. Methods 60 patients is randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,30 patients in each. The treatment group use Chanhu Zhike Oral Liquid and the control group Su Huang capsule,statistically analyzing the results. Results The response rate of the treatment group was 97%,which accounted for 7% cured,47% significant effective and 43%effective; that of the control group was 93%,which accounted for 10% cured,23% significant effective and 60% effective. The treatment group shows priority over the control group in the treatment of cough and expectoration. Conclusion Chanhu Zhike Oral Liquid,which can dispel wind-cold clear away the lung-heat,and relieve a cough,could effectively treat expectoration after cough and cough after a cold.

Ninety-six cases of cough variant asthma(CVA) were treated by “Qufeng Zhike Decoction”. Result showed cure in 50 cases, effectiveness in 38 cases and failure in 8 cases, with the total effective rate of 91.67%. It is suggested that this Decoction is effective to disperse wind and release lungs, fight allergy and stop cough, with positive effects on CVA.
