    Abstract:
    A divergent approach to obtain a latrunculin family based hybrid macrocyclic toolbox is developed. A practical, stereoselective synthesis of a common substructure present in latrunculin A and latrunculol A was achieved. This was further utilized in the macrocyclic diversity synthesis. The amino acid moiety embedded in the 15-membered macrocyclic ring allows for the exploration of various chiral side chains as one of the diversity sites.

    This paper summarizes and presents PulsatioMech: an open-source MATLAB toolbox for seismocardiography (SCG) signal processing. The toolbox may be found here: https://github.com/nzavanelli/SCG_master_toolbox PulsatioMech is currently under development as a common tool to promote new studies and discoveries in the use of cardiac mechanical signal for wearable health monitoring. This toolbox is designed to assist users in analyzing SCG signals without the need to devote significant effort into signal processing and coding tasks. Simultaneously, it provides a uniform basis to assess the reproducibility of works based on this toolbox, including those cited here [1-6]. The referenced works contain a great deal more detail regarding the specific algorithms implemented here, whereas this paper will present a short overview of the PulsatioMech Toolbox.

    This thesis deals with Statistics Toolbox and Real-Time Toolbox for MATLAB. Supporting texts for reference were created as an own czech translation of the manuals written in English and they should be used as a supplement of teaching books for students at universities, where MATLAB is used. The thesis consists of the following parts: Basic introduction to Statistics Toolbox and Real-Time Toolbox. These parts are followed by some simple illustrative examples from Statistics Toolbox and Real-Time Toolbox and basic description of used functions. The reference manual in Czech language is the most extensive part of the thesis. It includes the description of the chosen and the most used functions from the Statistics Toolbox and Real-Time Toolbox.

    In this paper we present a new toolbox that is developed for perceptual computing (PerC). This toolbox provides all requirements to implement PerC applications on different platforms and hence will promote perceptual computers in various domains. We will demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed procedures and will also describe an example of implementing a perceptual computer with the proposed toolbox.

    We synthesized [2]rotaxanes with a pyrrole moiety from a [2]rotaxane with a 1,3-diynyl moiety. The conversion of the 1,3-diynyl moiety of the axle component to the pyrrole moiety was accomplished by a Cu-mediated cycloaddition of anilines. The cycloaddition reaction was accelerated when the [2]rotaxane was used as the substrate. The effect of the structure of the pyrrole moiety on the rate of the shuttling was studied.

    This paper describes a software toolbox (a software library) designed for condition monitoring and diagnosis of machines. This toolbox implements both new methods and prior art and is aimed for practical down-to-earth data analysis work. The target is to improve knowledge of the operation and behaviour of machines and processes throughout their entire life-cycles. The toolbox supports different phases of condition based maintenance with tools that extract essential information and automate data processing. The paper discusses principles that have guided toolbox design and the implemented toolbox structure. Case examples are used to illustrate how condition monitoring applications can be built using the toolbox. In the first case study the toolbox is applied to fault detection of industrial centrifuges based on measured electrical current. The second case study outlines an application for centralized monitoring of a fleet of machines that supports organizational learning.

    Objective To develop a new series of hydroxyethylamine (HEA) BACE1 inhibitors with nitrogen heterocyclic moiety at N-terminal and find new N-terminal moiety for enhancing BACE1 inhibition activity. Methods New HEA compounds with nitrogen heterocyclic moiety at N-terminal were synthesized and evaluated as BACE1 inhibitors,with (-)-epigallocatechin-3gallate EGCG as a positive control. Results All new compounds were characterized by 1H NMR and ESI-MS. Evaluation of BACE1 inhibition activity showed that the compound Ⅰ6 with indole moiety at N-terminal had BACE1 inhibition activity. Conclusion The results suggested that the indole moiety at N-terminal interact with S2 pocket of BACE1 and be favorable for enhancing BACE1 inhibition activity, Thus, the indole moiety at N-terminal can be used as lead structure for further finding more effient BACE1 inhibitors.
