    Abstract:
    To study the variations of flavonoids contents in vine tips of sweetpotato (Ipomoea batatas) among different varieties, parts and the time of topping.The flavonoid contents in leaf, petiole and stem of vine tips at 6 different topping time of 3 varieties for vegetable-use Pushu 53, Guangcaishu No. 2 and Fushu 7-6, which were collected from Chongqing were determined by UV spectrophotometry with rutin as a standard substance.The results showed that the flavonoid content of Guangcaishu No. 2 was higher than that of Pusu 53, so was that of Pusu 53 than that of Fushu 7-6. The average flavonoid contents in leaf of 3 varieties were between 3.66 mg x L(-1) and 11.09 mg x L(-1) during 6 topping time, and those in petiole, stem were between 2.20-5.26 mg x L(-1) and 4.03-7.79 mg x L(-1), respectively. The rations of average flavonoid contents in leaf, petiole and stem to the total contents of vine tips among 3 varieties during their whole topping periods were 46.71%, 20.65% and 32.63%, respectively. The contents during earlier topping time were higher than those of later periods. The variance analysis of flavonoid contents revealed that there was significant difference between different varieties, parts and time of topping and significant interactions among varieties, parts and time of topping.The results of the study indicate that the contents of flavonoid should be considered for the breeding, cultivation and industrialization of sweetpotato for vegetable-use.

    【Objective】To study the agronomic and economic characters of cotton by using different topping measures in Xinjiang cotton area and to explore the problems in chemical topping and provide theoretical basis for chemical topping.【Method】Xinluzao 33,Xinluzao 45 and Xinluzao 46 were used as test materials, chemical topping,manual topping,on- decapitation were set up to study the cotton agronomic and economic characters change under three kinds of topping measure.【Result】Chemical topping cotton height was significantly higher than that of the manual topping and lower than that of the non- decapitation,but the number of main stem nodes and fruiting branches was significantly higher than that of the manual topping. Fruit branch length was below the manual topping,and thus more compact plant type. The boll number upon fruiting branch and the inner boll number treated by chemical topping is slightly higher than that of the manual topping,and there was a significant difference in boll weight. The yield of the seed cotton and ginned cotton was roughly the same of that of the manual topping. 【Conclusion】Fluorine could effectively control cotton top growth and meanwhile made cotton plants more compact.

    Total yields of vine tip of seven varieties of Leaf-vegetable sweetpotato during 2006-2007 were investigated; proportions of the weights of leaf, leaf stalk and stem in total vine tip yield and their changes among varieties and during topping stages were studied. The results showed that vine tip yields of sweetpotato were significantly different among either varieties or topping stages; leaf yield accounted for about 51% of total vine yield, and changes in leaf yield among topping stages were higher than that among varieties; while yields of leaf stalk and stem each accounted for 25% of total vine tip yield, their changes among varieties were higher than those among topping stages. These results revealed the yield composition of vine tip of Leaf-vegetable sweetpotato, which provided scientific references for breeding and cultivating new Leaf-vegetable sweetpotato variety and its industrialization.

    【Objective】The topping effect of flumetralin and the influence on the yield of cotton in Southern Xinjiang was studied in order to provide a theoretical basis for the realization of agricultural mechanization.【Method】Spraying flumetralin on cotton top at different times,and set- point surveying cotton growth characteristics. 【Result】Compared withmanual topping,the plant of chemical topping was higher and the number of fruit node was more than that of manual topping. There were no significant differences in fiber quality and cotton yield between chemical topping and manual topping. It was concluded that the chemical topping for the first time in June 20 th and second time in July 10 th and the first time in June 25 th and second in July 15 th were more reasonable in Southern Xinjiang. 【Conclusion 】Spraying flumetralin can effectively inhibit the growth of cotton top. It has a good prospect as a chemical topping agent in place of manual topping.

    The results of studying on the yields of vine tip and the rations of foliage,petiole and stem to yield of vine tip among 7 sweetpotato varieties and at different topping times in 2006-2007 showed that there were significant differences between vine tip yields among different varieties and at different topping times,and ratio of foliage to yield of vine tip was about 50 %,which varied more at different topping times than that among varieties,but ratios of petiole and stem to yield of vine tip were both about 25 %,which varied more among varieties than that at different topping times.So,foliage played an important role in yield and quality of sweetpotato for vegetable because they had more amount nutrient than petiole and stem.The analysis of architecture of vine tip yield of sweetpotato for vegetable would provide some scientific guides for the breeding,cultivation and industrialization of sweetpotato for vegetable.

    Sweet potato [Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.] is one of the important tuber crops of tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world. Studies on mean performances of 51 sweet potato genotypes were carried out at Vegetable Research Centre, Regional Horticultural Research and Extension Centre (RHREC), Dharwad during rabi, 2019-20 and 2020-21. The data was collected on 20 characters. High estimates of PCV, GCV, heritability and high genetic advance as per cent of mean were recorded for tuber yield per vine, the number of leaves per vine, the mean weight of tuber per vine, vine length and tuber yield per hectare.

    고구마 괴근의 표피에 선모양으로 돌출되어 나타나는 피맥의 발생동향을 조사하고, 경감하기 위한 시험의 결과는 아래와 같다. 1. 고구마 피맥은 표피가 줄무늬로 돌출되어 상품성을 저하시키는 증상으로서 피맥발생은 표피층에 전분이 집적되어 발생하는 것으로 관찰되었고, 조기재배보다 보통기재배에서 발생이 많았다. 2. 고구마 품종에 따른 피맥발생은 건풍미, 연황미, 건미 등 7품종이 3%이하로 적었고, 헬씨미, 보라미는 30%이상 발생하였다. 만중은 피맥발생과 정의 상관관계가 있었다. 3. 고구마 피맥은 생육기간이 진전됨에 따라 증가하다가 삽식 후 120일경에 가장 높았다. 4. 고구마 삽식 후 90일의 적심비율에 따른 피맥발생율은 일정한 경향을 보이지는 않았다. 엽면적지수 4에서 피맥발생율이 가장 적었으나, 일정한 경향을 보이지는 않았고, 경엽절제비율이 높을수록 수량감소가 크게 나타났다. Skin ridge (SR) is a irregular line shape that stand out in epidermal layer on sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas Lam.). SR reduced marketable value of storage root in sweet potato. It would be occurred by accumulation of starch in epidermal layer. SR rate was more highly increased in early planting. SR rate was under 3% in 7 varieties 'Geonpoongmi', 'Yeonhwangmi', 'Geonmi' etc and the rate of two varieties 'Healthymi', 'Borami' were up to 30%. SR rate was positively correlated with vine weight. SR rate was the highest in 120 days after planting. As leaf area index was reduced to 3, 4, 5 and 6 (non-topping) by topping, it was hard to fine SR occurrence in topping treated sweet potato. Topping treatment, however, caused decrease in yield overall. Therefore, topping treatment for decreasing of SR was not recommended in agricultural practice of sweet potato.

    Seven grape vine varieties were investigated on plant climatology time,habit of growth and fruit,characteristic of fruit cluster and berry,resistance to disease,per bud yield ect.The results showed:Yatomi Rosa,Centenial Seedless,Hongshuangwei three varieties planted in greenhouse was properly.Xinghuawang,Jingxiu,Cardinal and Rizamat four grape vine varieties in greenhouse was not roperly.
