Abstract:
The main purpose of this study to find out the relationship among transformational leadership (TL), organizational learning (OL), and organizational innovation (OI) in manufacturing food industry in east of Asia countries include China, Taiwan, and Malaysia. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to test the research hypotheses from168 manufacturing food companies. Our research model contains three constructs, and the results showed there is positive impact between constructs. Also, Organizational learning is a mediator in the linkage between transformational leadership and organizational innovation.Keywords:

The relationship between leadership, organizational culture and innovation is examined. One hundred and two Portuguese organizations from different activities sectors participated in the study. In each organization, top managers were asked about the innovation activity and employees were asked about the leadership and organizational culture of their organizations. Organizations were classified as either technology-based or non-technology-based. A structural model was tested by multi-group analysis, considering the sector of activity, technology-based companies and non-technology-based companies.

The objective of this study is to see the mediating effect of innovative culture and organizational learning between leadership styles and organizational performance in Malaysian SMEs. Questionnaires were used to collect data from owners/managers and 950 questionnaires distributed by using postal and email strategy. Out of 950, only 409 questionnaires returned back, 25 questionnaires have missing values and eliminated from a sample, and only 384 questionnaires were used for final analysis. Findings reveal that leadership styles have a significant influence on organizational learning, innovative culture, and organizational performance. Innovative culture and organizational learning have a significant influence on organizational performance. Moreover, innovative culture and organizational learning significantly mediate between leadership styles and organizational performance. In practical term, the current study contributes for managers/owners in SMEs to focus leadership styles with innovative culture and organizational learning in their decision making if they want to enhance their organizational performance. This study is one of the pioneer studies that test leadership styles at third-order with the combination of two mediating variables innovative culture and organizational learning with organizational performance.

The objective of this article is to evaluate the impact of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Innovation, Supply chain Integration and Organizational Performance. Research was carried out on 562 Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises. We use Smart PLS 3.6 software for data analysis. The results show that Transformational Leadership had a positive impact on Organizational Innovation, Supply chain Integration and Organizational Performance. In addition, the Supply chain Integration plays a role as a complete mediate in the relationship between Organizational Innovation and Organizational Performance. Size has a statistically significant moderate role on the relationship between Organizational Innovation and Organizational Performance. Finally, the leader qualification has a statistically significant moderate role in the relationship between Transformational Leadership and Organizational Performance. From the above results, we recommend the leaders of Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises to improve leadership capacity, apply a transformational leadership style to improve organizational performance.

Purpose This study aims to assess the impact of organizational storytelling on organizational performance by undertaking telecommunication companies located in the Middle Eastern nation of Jordan. Design/methodology/approach A quantitative design has been adopted to identify the impact of organizational storytelling on organizational performance, recruiting 460 employees at managerial levels from three telecom companies (Umniah, Zain and Orange). A step-wise regression analysis has been applied to analyze the data collected using a close-ended structured questionnaire. Findings A total of 284 male and 176 female employees took part in the study. The study has found a positive and significant impact of organizational learning, change management, corporate culture, training and development and leadership and indicated that these determinants positively related to organizational performance. Findings showed a positive and significant impact of organizational storytelling on organizational performance based on its components. Practical implications This study has contributed to identifying the impact of organizational storytelling on organizational performance in the telecommunication sector in Jordan. Originality/value This study is among the few to analyses the impact of organizational storytelling based on training and development, change management, corporate culture, organizational learning and development and leadership on the organizational performance of telecom companies in Jordan.

This research investigates the effect of transformational leadership and organizational learning on organizational innovation occurring in medium and large-sized businesses in Thailand’s food manufacturing industry. In total 200 businesses constituted the sample. PROCESS Macro Model 4 technique as devised by Hayes was utilized to verify the hypotheses. It was found that organizational learning plays a crucial role in fully mediating the effects of transformational leadership on organizational innovation. On this basis, a transformational leadership style of management is important for the firms in the food manufacturing industry to be innovative. These firms’ owners/managers must concentrate on organizational learning for innovation to lead to viable outcomes in the food industry.

This study aims at finding out how transformational leadership effects the organizational innovation in leading telecommunication companies of Pakistan. The study used a well-established questionnaire for data collection. The data was collected through convenient sampling from 120 mid-level and high-level managers of telecommunication organizations. The study not only relied on emphasis of descriptive statistics but regression was run to analyze the data. The results exhibit that transformational leadership has a constructive and substantial impact on organizational innovation in the deliberated context. This study is deemed to guide the Pakistan’s Telecommunication sector to improve the way management can yield more value from their employees. It also shows the impact of globally recognized knowledge can work in varying cultures and contexts.

Purpose – Organizational innovation is critical for firm competitive advantage. Yet, we do not know enough about the relationship between leadership and organizational innovation. The purpose of this paper is to examine the influence of chief executive officer (CEO) transformational and transactional leadership on organizational innovation. The authors examine the moderating role of environmental dynamism. Design/methodology/approach – The authors collected survey-based data from top management team members in 163 companies in services, construction, manufacturing and other industries in the USA. The authors used multiple regression analyses to test the study hypotheses. Findings – The empirical findings indicate that CEO transformational and transactional leadership behaviors positively influence organizational innovation. However, organizations benefit more from transformational leadership in dynamic environments. Originality/value – This study highlights the role of CEO leadership behavior in the pursuit of organizational innovation. Significantly, the study shows that both transformational and transactional leadership can enhance organizational innovation. However, their effectiveness is contingent on environmental dynamism. This contributes to the firm innovation literature by clarifying how specific types of CEO leadership influence organizational innovation in different environmental conditions.

Organizational learning capability mediates between national culture and organizational innovation. Prior studies that examined the effect of national culture' dimensions on organizational innovation were varied, especially in the individualism/collectivism and masculinity/femininity dimensions. The data were collected from 164 department chairs of universities in greater Jakarta, which has an A accreditation, through an online survey. The result indicates that organizational learning capability fully mediates national culture and organizational innovation significantly.

In today industry, transformational leadership has become the top influential factor that affects the organization innovation. The aim of this study is to determine the level of transformational leadership (idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual, and individual consideration) for employees in the Malaysian manufacturing industry. This study also identifies the influence of transformational leadership on organization innovation in the Malaysian manufacturing industry. This research involved the leaders of admin level in manufacturing industry Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. The survey questionnaire was distributed to 165 respondents. The result indicated that Intellectual Stimulation was the highest level for employees in the manufacturing industry. However, Individual Consideration was the most significant correlation to organization innovation in the manufacturing industry. This quantitative research is important to provide better information relating to the relationship between transformational leadership and the organization innovation so that the admin level leader can obtain a clear understanding of how to guide their followers effectively in an organization.
